Hello guys

I bought my 2ds years ago and nowadays, upon playing there is this error:
"An exception occurred-Arm 11", since I have seen online that probably I need to update the Luma, thats what I did, but the software version remain the same and the error persists. Taking the R4 out and running it, error persists as well.
I am using the R4 Card, sorry I cannot remember a lot about about the CFW and hack aspect of things since it has been done a long time ago.

Here are some pictures of the software, R4 card, and SD card.
I would gladly take any help

Thank you

Hello! Late reply. Sorry, I missed your thread.

The thing with "update Luma3DS boot.firm" only refers to the ARM11 crash process "pm" – not process "loader". The well-known crash (with 1000 bad YouTube videos telling us to update Luma3DS) occurs right on boot time (no chance to start anything, but you successfully started System Settings).

There are so many reasons for different ARM11 crashes (and I never found a list telling us what they mean). I think there was something about certain titles throwing ARM11 undefined instruction (loader) requiring "import seed" in FBI (could be wrong).

If this happens only with a few titles (and import seed doesn't help), install those titles on a different (h2testw/F3 tested) SD and see if this helps.

The next step that often gets recommended on various errors is CTRTransfer or CTRTransfer Type D9. This might be an option if everything else fails (I can't tell you if this is helpful now). Please backup the current status of you NAND and store the image on your computer as well. Sometimes (rarely, but it happened) trying to repair made things worse; having a few backups as a last resort is good anyway.

Good luck!

Edit:

Yes. Found something.

Thank you very much for the response. People dont seem to have a unique response for this error ("loader"). I have tried a lot of stuff

-tried to go into luma menu and disable arm11 error- did not worked.
-tried to update to new luma files and replace the ones on sd root card- did not worked.
-tried to get into godmode and "restart the system" without loosing the files- did not worked
-tried to import seed, as you mentioned, but it fails to import- appears as "http 404: not found", not just with one game...

I can try a different sd card and test it as you mentioned before, but I have tried to copy the files of my 16gb card into a 32gb card Fat formatted and the nintendo doesnt launch it...probably i am being dumb because I need to do something else...so i dont know how to install the games on a different tested card as you mentioned...

I am really sad since i cannot find an answer for this...sometimes if i insist the game will launch after 10 attempts, but for no reason it even happens when laoding FBI for example some times.... Can i re-do the jailbreak with an "updated one", since I even dont bother loosing the save games, I just want to able to play games :(

Thank you very much

Maybe a dumb question: Is the console connected to the internet? FBI needs online access for import seed.

Take a secondary, tested, FAT32 formatted and empty SD and start with:
https://3ds.hacks.guide/restoring-updating-cfw
followed by
https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup

Then install your CIA files with FBI; try import seed (while online). If you dump your cartridges with GodMode9 to CIA format, importing seeds shouldn't be needed.

It is connected. the thing is i can get the seed for 2 games but the majority wont let me get the seed. and FBI says they are region free.. i will try to download them again from reputable sources and try to import seed again. If not working then i will try
