are you sure renaming a file to "off" prevent it from being loaded ?
The environment loader loads all .rpx in the folder in alphabetical/numeral order. I didn't read anything about renaming to OFF. (even if technically it could be implemented for easy management, disable without deleting from SD)

I'm guessing once you rename the extension to off, it is no longer an *rpx* file and hence wont be executed since it only executed *rpx* files in numerical order...

EDIT: nevermind - I see they were proposing leaving the rpx extention... i dont know about that.. but i will just change my rpx extension to off anyway..

Hey guys. All o this is exciting and I will be trying this when I can get my hands on my console. But a few questions, and I'm sorry if this has already been asked. One is will the inject icons on the Wii U main page still work as with CBHC (to Not64, HBL2HBC, etc)? And also how do we uninstall Tiramisu? CBHC can be uninstalled pretty easily and can look like the console had never been touched.

Hi,
is it actually possible to start the plugin loader automatically at boot time? would be cool for the coustum themes

Hey all,

I'm currently on CBHC 1.6 any advantages or disadvantages to using Tiramesu instead other than the update blocking? Just curious if its worth making the switch or if I should hang on to what I got for now.

You can finally play brain age again ;)

The main advantage is you don't have a significant brick risk with Tarimisu.

Finally installed Tiramisu on my WiiU.
I already had Haxchi installed as a standalone HBL, so I simply left that one untouched, and then went on to install Tiramisu and it's now running and autobooting to the Home Menu without issues :)

I have some points to make, however, so maybe someone can take them into consideration, and/or answer my doubs:
  1. I think I read this on the thread, but I am experiencing a slight graphical glitch/bug when autobooting Tiramisu+WiiU Home Menu. The graphics glitch out a bit with a white glitched rectangle on the lower right part of the screen when the screen goes black, and then a glitched black line going through horizontally when the "WiiU" icon appears before entering Home Menu properly. Outside of that, I haven't notice anything else.
  2. While I installed everything, I am still not sure if Mocha (or whatever CFW Tiramisu is using) is running right on the autoboot or not. How can I tell if it is running?
  3. Given Tiramisu is all up and running, is it possible to run the Dark Mode plugin right on startup?

I also have a question, seeing it's a mod of Mocha, does it mean it works with the debuggers too ?
I think we needed mocha, because (cb)haxchi and other patchers didn't have the debugger available.

I guess that's another point into using Tiramsu environment.

Someone tested FTPiiU?
Latest version should work with both methods (cIOSU and hmm the other one used by cbhc), so if mocha/tiramisu uses cIOSU it should work too.

So I upgraded to tiramisu and now when I enter my Wii and GameCube injects I sometimes get a black screen but still hear audio. What’s going on?

The graphical bug while autobooting is obviously the system autobooting to Health and Safety and then inmediatelly booting back into sys menu.

I might be having a hazy memory, but back when the fw.img stuff was starting to appear for Wii U something similar was happening on boot.
I do recall seeing it a couple times, but since I barely even used FW images or Mocha originally, I might not be sure, but I think that's something that might be caused from the CFW image.

Again, I'm not sure if that's the cause.

Based on my own testing, whenever the loader is unable to find the necessary files on the sd, a message should appear on the gamepad screen before proceeding with the autoboot. if everything is set up correctly you shouldn't see that message.

Went ahead and made the switch today. Talk about painless, I went in with a little fear that uninstalling CBHC and then later deleting it's old title could end badly if something went wrong, but it was quick, easy, and everything worked perfectly.

I'm slightly annoyed to learn that the quickstart menu needs time to actually work as intended? I didn't remember that before, but upon boot, I'm told the quick start menu isn't ready yet and to just hit OK to go to the Wii U menu. I guess it's gotta learn (since turning it back on) what my most visited titles are. So for the time being, the one big feature I was excited to get back, is still taunting me. Lol. But I'm very excited to know it will soon be back for me to use with the setup I now have up for the system.

Well I can't tell you what's happening for you, but for those in Tiramisu, that's exactly how the Wii U is supposed to behave upon boot.
