Hacking Nintendo Switch Banning Hub & Warning

I've had this hacked switch for many years but primarily play smash on stock fw, I only prepped my switch by updating to 13.1 to play Pokemon and prep my switch to pkhex pokemon in. I also on the side have decided played a bit of the new AC Update 2.0 + DLC, I didn't pirate any of the software so I'm fairly certain that something on AC got me banned considering Pokemon wasn't out at the time when I was banned.

Theres no convenient way for me to access saves so I just went online with cfw sysnand since I've read from a lot of other places that it was safe as long as you didn't cheat or pirate games.

I gave myself all DIYs, but I think my Island floor tiles were really scuffed that's the only thing I could really think of that would have banned me. I'll be buying a new switch, but I will not be modding ac anymore since I'm terrified of getting banned again.

Did you use map editor in NHSE? I never use map editor and can't speak if it is caused the ban. Beside Dream Suite, there is no known ban for do anything.

Go online with Atmosphere can raise the ban risk that happened to some members. Many are lucky and some aren't lucky. I believe that has something with system that lead Nintendo to detect and the ban prevention isn't completely foolproof, even sometime, it could break.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I did in fact go online using atmosphere but from what I'm reading and I understand that it's constantly changing. I shouldn't be banned for just having CFW.

I did use the map editor, and i think this is what caused the ban. On my first week after modding in bells and nookmiles, I was fine however after editting my map a bit. (I leave my switch on while docked, so I don't exactly know when I got banned) But when I only editted in nookmiles/bells and villagers I was fine and could still use the eshop.

It means we need to collect more information from other members who got banned from Switch over map editor for ACNH game.

Just wondering, I saw so many post says running sysnand cfw and homebrew are safe from ban (eventho not 100%), and some says there are some games that nintendo really pays attention and will cause ban whatever we do with the save data. My question is, I'm planning to play Pokemon Brilliant Diamond on Emunand and when my cart comes in January, I wanna transfer it over from emunand to sysnand (I'm not planning to cheat/use pkhex). Will I be safe from ban? Thank you

It should be safe, only if you transfered a save from the room that came out earlier will have ban risk

I totally recommend you to transfer every Pokemon individually from the "hacked switch" to switch with "the new-clean-game" to avoid any risk

I've made basic modifications to my island and restored backups a few times when messing things up. Nothing impossible, just adjusting the square so it aligns with things better. I do not have online backups enabled.

I've also used the mobile editor to give/modify furniture colors. No nook miles, villagers, impossible trees or anything whacky like that. No 90dns, no blank prod. I've never done anything while playing on other islands. I've also used a mod to change the music to GameCube. This is all on sysnand.

I've been doing this close to a year and I'm still good. I told myself if I got banned, it would be my excuse to buy an OLED.

I do this all on a single user with a NSO account linked.

I got banned because I used a fake linked account and connected to the eshop.

Very stupid, i know.

Using emunand with only blanked serials and connected to WiFi for 3 years now, no ban yet on sysnand.
I'm planning on transferring my Pokemon bdsp save over to Sysnand for online play, don't know if I should use JKSV or put the file directly into the sysnand using Hekate.

You can get banned for any CFW and/or homebrew usage. It doesn't matter what it is.

There isn't anything in the Terms of Service about connecting a hacked console to an unhacked console. Besides, it would be unfair to ban users because of that since you wouldn't ever know if the console is hacked if its someone you don't know for example.
