Wow! Never expected to see this. One of my most favorite games ever. But there is some issue when I try to run. I have followed instructions completely. But every time I start, it just crashes. Not sure what am I missing. Anyone have any idea? I am using latest version 0.2.9 on Vita CFW 3.60.

Can anybody make new version with reconfigurable binding in .ini file?
Binding for NSW version is ideal, but for VITA not!
I want to be VITA buttons layout like as NSW one (NOT swapped X & O).
Help me, please!

On VITA controls should be:
Run - O
Jump - X

Hello guys,

Is it just me or the game doesn't work anymore? I'm on Atmo 1.2.5, firmware 13.2.0 and as soon as I start the game I get an error message saying that the game could not start (no error code displayed).
It was working fine with SXOS, I just did the switch to Atmosphere.
Of course everything is properly installed (hode folder, game files, NSP).

Thanks for your input!

You need "forwarder" for 12+ Firmware. Here it is.
Or you can run a game like other homebrews (from homebrew menu) "manually" - tap on any installed game HOLDING [R] button, then find HODE in HB menu and run it.
But don't use *Applet Mode* (gallery+R)!

Unfortunately I can't get the game to work. I have the original CD Game for PC in Italian language (IT) but in this version there is a single hod.paf file and all the others required for operation are missing.

Is there any way to make it work?

1. Install game in Windows.
2. Go to folder where you installed the game.
3. Search all files with following extentions:
*.sss;
*.mst;
*.lvl;
SETUP.DAT - if you use a game menu (if you use "disable_menu=false" in "hode.ini"), but I'm nos sure about NOT English release, for RUSSIAN one there is another SETUP.DAT different from Eng.
hod.paf - contains all videos, but you can remove it and disable using all cutscenes in "hode.ini" using option "disable_paf=true").
4. Copy all thease files to UX0:\data\hode\

Thanks, works perfect now.

Can I keep the hod.paf file for playing the cutscenes or is it better to delete it?

I can‘t get this to work in Atmosphere. I am on 13.2.1 - 1.2.6 because i switched from SXOS last week where the game worked fine.

I did the following: Unpacked the zip-file (about 500 mb) and got an HODE (0.2.9d-version) folder and an nsp-file. Inside HODE there is the nro- and the ini-file. I moved both the folder an the nsp-file to the root of the SD-card. I also copied the nro-file to the root so that i can try to start the game via the HB-menu (no applet mode) but it does not launch. Instead there comes an Atmosphere error 2347-0003 (0x75b) and the console needs to be restarted.

Or do i have to launch the nro-file inside the HODE-folder? How can this be done from the HB-menu?

I also own the original PS1-game.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

1. Make a folder /hode/ in the root of MicroSD (may be not in root, but in /switch/hode) and copy these files from game folder in it:
all *.sss;
all *.mst;
all *.lvl;
SETUP.DAT
- if you use MENU (disable_menu=false in hode.ini).
hod.paf - it's all ingame movies (reqires disable_paf=false in hode.ini)
2. Copy hode.ini and hode.nro homebrew files (edit INI if you need to switch some options.
3. Install NSP-forwarder (i don't know what exactly forwarder you use, it can be for "[SD-ROOT]/switch/hode/hode.nro" or for "[SD-ROOT]/hode/hode.nro", so try both variants.
Or run it from HB-menu, but NOT in *APPLET MODE*, of course.
