So, I have my switching updated to 13.0.0 latest hekate BUT..

because of the drama with Tinfoil I started using fusee primary.
So I use the PC to load hekate and from hekate I select fusee primary, I guess this is chainlinking or chainloader, right?

Ok.. so.. every game I installed if I boot with hekate and select fusee primary it works, if I do hekate from pc and hekate cfw emu nand, everything is corrupted.

Why?
Is it possible to stop using fusee primary?

Do you have sigpatches for your emunand? also it's possible archive bits or sd card format

I use AIO switch updater and I let it grab the sigpatches.

But it has 2 options fusee primary and hekate.

Is it possible to have both sigpatches for both hekate and fusee primary?

I don't think anything is corrupted because I can play everything just fine if chainloading fusee primary but get corrupted message if trying to play with hekate.

get these ones adn just extract the contents to where they need to go, will work with fusee and hekate then try again

Which switches can be done cfw on it? is it those models?
or the next ones with improved battery that came after the lauch?

Noob paradise right? Well I'm as much of a noob as they come.
Going to buy a V1 Switch with SX Core today, on Firmware 11 obviously.
Is there a guide that explains how to migrate to Atmosphere and update to firmware 13?
I found plenty of guides, but none specifically for this situation. Thanks!

If I broke any rules with this post I apologize. I tried to find the rules for this forum but couldn't.

Hey guys! It's been a quite a while since I've checked on the scene.
What are the top CFW's these days? (Advantages/Disadvantages)
Also, can we boot straight to CFW from a cold start yet without RCM/Payload?

Atmosphere and no (SXOS and ReiNX are defunct and are no longer getting updated)

Look into spacecraft-nx for flashing the chip then use (hekate) + atmopshere and then daybreak to upgrade

Technically, all Switch models can have CFW. However any consoles that are patched, Mariko, Switch Lite, or OLED require a modchip to be soldered inside to run CFW. Unpatched consoles can be hacked with a USB cable and anything conductive like a paperclip.
Does partition based emunand operates objectively faster than file based on Atmosphere 1.1.1/FW 13 for Erista?
They are about the same speed but partition-based emuMMC may be insignificantly faster than file-based emuMMC.

So noob question here, just modded my launch V1 switch on Sunday. Enjoying a Japanese Yugioh game via Tinfoil. However, after I'm done playing said game it always bugs me for software updates for the games. FWIW, I did change the DNS for my home network to the ones supplied on a guide I followed. Can I just press download update while connected to my home network with the DNS change or do I have to find updates via Tinfoil only?
