@shadow256 I re-deleted the games folder and tried yet again, once more I was successfully able to create an NSP, I successfully installed it as well (however still shows that the signatures are invalid for the .NCA files).
When I boot the game, exact same scenario as before, a couple of Error Code: 2002-001 pop-ups, the Guardian Force controller layout, and then the default wallpaper and options show up, which are accessible, but the screen remains black. No detection of a game.

Attached the log from that attempt as well.

@Levine91: Nothing seems to indicate improper params or something else (just a display miss in the sumary in english language but will be fixed on next version), I can't reproduce your issue. Try to select the NSP of GuardianForce as a source, maybe the game isn't build correctly. Did you deleted "Saturn_emu_inject_datas\games" folder (based on launching main .bat file) just before or after the update of the script?

Credits edited in the original folder

It was successful by replacing the file.

thank you. This makes it possible to create an infinite number of modified images of your choice.

I really don't understand what you are doing right that I'm apparently doing wrong.
I keep creating the NSP and end up with the same result I've mentioned before.

For this symptom, open the cue file with notepad and check the name of the bin file.
It is case sensitive, so be sure to type it correctly.

The icon file is a jpg, not a png.
Try again with jpg.
256 * 256 size

Man you're a life saver and I feel like an idiot.
I flat out forgot to edit the contents of my Bomberman cue to match the new name I gave recently due to the cue & bin files themselves, due to "(" and ")" crashing the script for me.
I feel like an idiot, completely thought I had done that.

BTW the image doesn't need to be a JPG 256x256, I am using a PNG with a bigger dimension and the script properly converts it.

The wallpapers also FINALLY worked after I manually replaced them in the ../Saturn_emu_inject_datas/games/GuardianForce/romfs/Wallpaper folder.
Any time I tried selecting my folder path manually for the wallpapers, it wouldn't end up working.

Any idea why the "Options" menu defaults to Japanese? What needs to be changed on the Guardian Force base so it chooses English first?

I'm also looking for the cause of Japanese being defaulted, but I haven't been able to solve it yet.

Before his script, when I was just doing a manual bin/cue swap, it never defaulted to Japanese, so I'm not sure.
I'm also using the same custom config I was previously using.

What files you using to replace the Playing Guide and Credits?

The prod.keys key was the problem. NSP creation has been completed and operation has been confirmed.

But the wallpaper change doesn't seem to be applied.
please check.

WP_GF_001.tex
WP_GF_002.tex
WP_GF_003.tex
WP_GF_004.tex

I put it in the wallpaper folder with the file name as above.
may i ask which NSP game you re compiled

New issue has cropped up.. trying to do a Save State on Bomberman crashes the game now. (Didn't before). Even when trying to Max OC, it still crashes.

EDIT: Tried yet another game, Albert Odyssey, same thing, crash when trying to Save State.
This again wasn't an issue before using the script @shadow256

I compiled Guardian Force.
Cotton 2
Cotton Boomerang
You can use it if you just match the file name in
for my earlier question, have you tried injecting both Texture.Tex and WP_C2_001+2+3+4.tex (renamed/replaced from WP_GF_001+2+3+4.tex)

when you replaced the new wallpapers
did you rename them for Cotton2 file names:
WP_C2_001.tex
WP_C2_002.tex
WP_C2_003.tex
WP_C2_004.tex

WP_GF_001.tex <these are for Guardian Force (they have Sega Saturn Wallpapers like this
sega saturn retro skin.jpg

Some other reports:

- I played the entire Panzer Dragoon Zwei. Only issue I found is that, at later stages, when it gets very crowded the music stutters. Otherwise perfectly playable (my Switch is not overclocked, could it make a difference?)
- I played the entire Elevator Action Returns. At the penultimate stage, the "-" menu (with save states, et cetera) does not work. If I get game over during that stage, I need to close and reopen the whole game before being able to use the "-" menu again. If I manage to finish the stage and get to the last one, the "-" menu is back again.
- On my Switch (OS 13 and corresponding Atmosphere, using the full Cotton collection), I have no problems related to file names and upper cases.
- My copy of Elevator Action Returns is made of several bins (many more than 2) and it works perfectly (apart from the funny issue mentioned above, but I guess the two things should be unrelated)
