Hi GBATemp! :)

I just upgraded from a regular Omega to a Omega DE, for my regular Omega I used a tool called Universal Skinner to theme the firmware and apply my own skin, are there any tools to do that for the Omega DE too?

As far as I know, none exist unfortunately. It's still possible to do it manually but it's a time consuming process.

Hmm I see, yeah I saw something about having to compile things manually? I guess I could ask on GBATemp if anyone has a compiler setup and provide them my theme asking if they are nice enough to compile something for me :(

I can get your theme compiled if you want. :)

The DE kernel contains extra assets for the extra settings menu.
means update offsets with one official posted.

Hmm thanks for this although when I add this to my definitions.xml I still get an error about Universal Skinner not being able to read the file correctly :(

That's the ezkernelnew.bin I tried: Kernel 1.03 and firmware 4.0

for DE all firmwares share a same bitmap offset, and of cuz they have different checksums. so just ignore the warning and choose forcing layout is ok.

Hmm alright but even if I do this it doesn't load correctly:

1 click force layout
2 choose EZOmega DE__FW1_K1.02
or just clear all the other offset

the offset you load is an omega one

Okay thank you, deleting every other offset block worked! So if I modify the firmware with this now I can safely flash it afterwards?

EDIT: That worked like a charm :)
