Hacking Question How to keep Edizon cheats from activating automatically on game launch?

Some games seem to be off by default but others like BotW are on when the game launches. Any advice would be great, thanks.

In system_settings.ini, change:

; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1

to:

dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0

Note the removed ";" as well.

use that but also check that you don't have the cheat enabled, you might also need a restart.

What do you mean make sure the cheats are not enabled? Enabled where?

dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1

this line enable all the cheat for the game you would play, while the other line, dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0 disable that, if it certain game that have cheat enable, check your edizon, and you probably need to restart the unit.

I am rebooting hekate and made the changes in the .ini but it still happens. I am running the latest atmosphere and downloaded Edizon from the SD Card Setup page. Not sure why its doing this, it is only happening on some games and not all.

Yeah, everything is in the correct place. I have read a few other people here in the forums having this issue, maybe its just a thing. Right now it's only happening with BotW, it doesn't happen with Pokemon Sword for example.

Post your system_settings.ini file

Once you amend the system_settings.ini, remember to go to the contents folder where all the cheats are saved. Look for toggles.txt and remove them.
