Don't worry, I found what you mean. However, it doesn't happen with every pin.
Level up data is wrong for several of them D:

This will be resolved in the next release, no worries :)
Hi there, I figured you already realised what was wrong but I thought I'd share my findings as I was able to pinpoint what was causing the bug to happen. As it turns out, you are right in that certain pins require way more exp to hit a certain level than was originally thought, so the exp on some of them were too low. So say if a pin needed 320 exp to hit level 2 and one attempts to set it to level 2 with only say 222 exp in the pin, the pin would appear to be stuck and not be able to gain any exp. The bug goes away once you make up for the difference. Not sure how much work it would be for you, but it seems allowing the exp section of the pin editor to go to a higher integer would be the easiest way to prevent this?

Not sure it's something that can easily be done on a save editor, but is it possible to set scramble battle multiplier permanently to 5X or able to change the points you have entirely even?

Yes you can change your current points. Not in this current version or the next, but it's something I have planned :)

In the meantime, those who want to change their scramble battle points:
  1. Dump your slot data
  2. Open it on a hex editor
  3. From what I could see, the offset is at 0x26AB (hex) or 9899 (decimal), at least during w2d6.
  4. Save and reimport
  5. Save changes.

I managed to fix the issues. The leveling up data was actually correct, but I forgot to calculate something.

Adding pins just about to get mastered, now works and they earn experience. ^^^

I also fixed the clothing editor related issues. Don't forget to keep reporting anything strange you might find :)

Would like to thank @Immubach for telling me there was a hidden drop rate stat. You can now modify it:
SEPiuOO.png

It caps at 19 between all seven characters. Even if you max all of them you will only get a +19.0 drop rate.

Download the new release here: https://github.com/supremetakoyaki/Scramble/releases/tag/v0.7.2

My advice is to remove the pins you've added with the previous version and re-add them again.
Don't forget to equip every pin to a character or the menu might crash.

Final Remix support is coming but it's not here yet. Be patient!

Hi. Yes it does. You need to edit and save the changes while the game is not running.
So close the game first. And make sure the save file you edit is actually in the right directory.

You can check it here:

Here's a sneak peek at final remix mode, which includes interactive food bytes editing because I was really bored.

left click for eaten bytes, right click for unavailable bytes (X)

My copy of TWEWY Final Remix is the one released in NA/EU, which includes text for all languages... except Japanese.
If anyone has the Japanese version of the game (Subarashiki Kono Sekai -Final Remix-) and wants to donate the text files, that'd be super <3

Edit: gottem!

Sorry for triple-posting :P but no one had commented anything since yesterday.

Anyway, new version is here and includes the long-awaited TWEWY Final Remix mode.

For now, you can only edit your character and game stats, and items. Pins will come later.

In-game screenshots:

I believe this is now the first TWEWY save editor, ever since the game came out 14 years ago.
It only works with Final Remix save files. I don't think I'll ever add support for the DS version, since you can get basically everything with cheat codes. Solo Remix/mobile seems more likely.

There's also something new for NEO users.
I made the Scramble Slam editor at last:

Big values break the UI a little, but it works.

Anyways, enjoy :)

Much love man. And yes, this is the first save editor. And supporting the ds version and even the mobile version seems pointless, because 1) there's 2 good emulators if you don't have a switch, and 2) the final day and new pins make it basically the definitive version

I agree, however...

I made a Solo Remix->Final Remix save converter. :)
It's simple as clicking the button. This might be useful for a few people.

(also the update checker is at the launcher now)

You can find the newest version at https://github.com/supremetakoyaki/Scramble/releases/latest

Any other conversions, especially of DS save files will never happen. I am sorry about that.
DS save files are substantially different from Solo/Final Remix counterparts. You can use the save editor to give you stickers to advance through the game.

You really go above and beyond man. Thanks for all your work. You have an estimated time frame for pin editing? I don't care and I'm not rushing you, but it would be sweet to start a play through with lightning rook!

This week has been a little busy for me, I'll work on it during the weekend :)
I really don't have the data for pin level/experience yet, I'll try to datamine further for it.

I'll take a moment to say something.

It has been pointed out to me that some people are selling my work which I made for you guys, completely free, for outrageous prices on eBay. $40 for having a save file edited is absolutely ridiculous.

doGlAAR.png

(and yes, they offer every feature the editor has at the moment, no more or less).

I wrote about this in the License file on the repository, however there's not much more I can do against this as it seems like a loophole.

The Scramble editor is a hobby project that's completely free and open source, including everything I datamined from the game which have their own separate repositories (1) (2) — someone could even use this data to create wiki pages or guides for the game.

While services of people who do the stuff for you can be reasonable i.e. you don't have a hackable Switch or lack the skill, please don't pay ridiculous amounts. I can edit your cloud save for free if you DM me.

(I'll add this to the main thread in a bit)

Man that's so crazy people are so greedy. You're not gonna stop it but hopefully you mitigate it. Maybe you should leave a review linking to this post? Although you'll get a lot of traffic that way, it will help mitigate your work being used for profit when you're not even doing that.

Not really looking to start anything against them, I just wanted to mention how it's sad from the developer's side that they're asking for $20 or even $40 for using my own work for free, which by the way they'd only have to open the save, set everything to max, close it and boom. Easy $20. So, I'd rather tell people to not pay these ridiculous amounts.

In other news, I will start working on the pin editor on Saturday :) that's the day I am free from uni for a bit, so look forward to it.

Wow, you did an amazing job with these games :D I would pick up game to use this

I wonder if I could do the same for Persona 5 Scramble and Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD for Switch but no clue on C# or datamine. It would be cool haha

You probably can with any language :) the disadvantage is that this editor is strictly Windows-only because it's a .NET 5 desktop app. I thought it was possible to run on Mac for example using Mono but it was confirmed to me that it does not run.

On the other hand, datamining allows you to have readily information taken directly from the game such as item IDs, sprites, names, instead of adding them by hand.
I wish I had the time to document it more :P
When I have the time, I can try to decompile P5S and send you the assets. (I own the game)
