Hacking update firmware to a newer version question

Updated to Atomphere on.

The switch it self has firmware 6. How do i do a manual update to a newer version?

As I understand you have updated Atmosphere to the latest version, correct? If so then you can update your Switch firmware with Daybreak (comes with Atmosphere). You can download firmware from Darth's site (Google it, not allowed to share link here).

You can use either ChoiDujourNX, ChoiDujour, Daybreak, or even blawar's DZ to update your firmware. You can also technically update with another Switch if it is running a game version that is higher than the source console.
