I can't do anything about people selling it. That's the Apache license for ya. The price markup is still a dickish move. I'm more angry about the fact that my name is attached to the selling of ROMs. Selling ROMs is not okay.

I'm trying to get this kernel working on my EZ-Flash Omega. I was on the official K107 FW7. I've added the SYSTEM and BACKUP folder. I've then deleted the official kernel from the root of my SD card, then add the ezkernel-dark.bin to the root. I renamed it to ezkernel.bin once on the root.
However it seems to be still booting from the official kernal. Even when I have no ezkernel.bin on the root of the SD. It makes no mention of your customizations anywhere, and when I try to launch Sega Game Gear or Sega Master System files it just flashes the screen but goes back to where my Game Gear or Master System files are.

What am I doing wrong here?

Hold R while powering on, to install the update from the ezkernel.bin file to the flashcard.

I got an Ez-Flash Omega for my gba and also an sd card. I didn't use it yet, I didn't do anything related to default kernel or whatever. Where should I start to use this? I just want to have my card with latest firmware and what not + your software, so I can test the game I'm working on for the GBA.

Sterophonick, Hello. How to safe delete you "Simple theme (v3.43) K106 FW7" and update to official Kernel 1.08 and Firmware 8.0. Please help (i want to return to official firmware).

you just use the official kernel like before, it won't lock you out

Copy your game's .gba file to the SD card and just launch it. Nothing special.

Done. Installed official firmware 1.08. In the settings it still shows "Simple theme (v3.43) K106 FW7".
Now it's official 1.08 and yours v3.44 is not installed. Memory card error. Super.
I tried different memory cards. Same.

But how do I install your software from scratch? Both kernel and firmware, I just have a brand new ez flash omega and a brand new sd card.

I tested it on mine and it worked fine. Make sure your SD card and the slot are clean. Use some isopropyl alcohol.

Always check the readme

It turned out that it was necessary to start with the R button held down so that everything was established normally, and not from the menu. Why is such an important detail not listed in the instructions?
