PlayStation Plus games for July 2021 announced, features Black Ops 4 and A Plague Tale

asdasdas.png

A new month is upon us, which means, if you're a subscriber to PlayStation Plus, a new set of free games will be available soon. As announced by Sony, three new titles will be playable for members, starting July 6th. Those games are Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, and A Plague Tale: Innocence. This also means it's your last chance to grab June's games before they're gone.

The PlayStation Plus July lineup packs in thrilling firefights, wrestling superstars, intense horror, and martial arts action. Whether your tastes lie with first-person shooters (Call of Duty: Black Ops 4), over the top arcade punch ups (WWE 2K Battlegrounds), third-person survival horror (A Plague Tale: Innocence) or battling your way up global leaderboards (Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown), PlayStation Plus next month has something for you. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, and A Plague Tale: Innocence are available to add to your console library starting Tuesday, July 6 until Monday, August 2. And if you missed it last month, Virtua Fighter is available on PlayStation Plus for a second month, and is available to PlayStation Plus members until Monday, August 2.

They already gave away Block Ops 3 a while back but I'll take Battle Grounds and the Plague Innocent.

EDIT: I just checked it was Black Ops 4... I forgot they made a black ops 4 it sucks they don't have a campaign mode but I will get it anyway since its free.

@Reploid
How is this better than MS? I love Xbox like the next guy but Sony list is better this month

Again not even close to MS
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to pay both a yearly online subscription to MS and then pay for GamePass for access to all those great games? The Playstation situation happening here is akin to just paying for online for Microsoft without paying for Game Pass. Does MS online offer games to download free each month without having to pay for Game Pass? I genuine don't know for sure, that's why I wanna understand what we're really comparing here or not.

MS offers Games with Gold with a similar amount of 'free' games per month. Mostly I'd say Plus has the better selection of games, but that can be put down to personal opinion. MS does however offer a couple of X360 titles per month: nab them and they really are free even if you stop subscribing so there's that.
But yes if the guy is comparing Plus to GP then that's an unfair comparison..... Game Pass should be compared to PS Now (which it also beats)

Ps Plus been stepping up this year with FF7 Remake , Control, and other games for free. I actually have PS4 and Xbox One S but I haven't been subscribed to gamepass since February. Xbox Gold used to be good but with gamepass the free games been kinda lame lately. Before gamepass gold used to be on top.

Horizon Zero Dawn as a free download to help us through the pandemic was a really solid freebie too.

I'm not going to lie Sony has been doing a good job this year because I always used to complain how they was giving lame games last year but they have improved. I actually decided to keep my PS Plus opposing to my Gamepass Ultimate Subscription.

I still have a year worth of game pass redeem codes but nothing really swayed my way of keeping game pass ultimate. Paying $60 to keep all my PS Plus games and also playing my games remotely is still a huge win over Xbox.

Dont give me wrong I love Xbox and the Series-X is the better system opposing to the PS5 if you consider the BC and also the DEV Mode enabling you to play homebrew. That's a good deal for $500. But my Xbox One S is still running strong and apparently it will still be supported next year so I'm not missing much. I didn't do DEV menu on my Xbox One S because I have so many options to playing retro games.

As someone who still couldn't decide between xsx and ps5 (especially subscription wise), it was really interesting to read through your comments :P

If you are late to the party you will get the short end of the stick. Most of the games provided you needed to be a member for a few years. If you want a budget experience the Series-X will probably be good.

For example you can't get FF7 remake for free anymore on PS Plus because they gave that game in March 2021. You have to wait for it on sale
