Answer the following test to see if you're smarter than WiiMiiSwitch.

Question 1:
How much is 2 + 2?

Question 2:
What comes after A in the alphabet? Depict your answer textually.

Question 3:
What came first? Egg or Chicken? Bonus points if you explain the necessary genetic change that took place first.

Reply properly and find out if you're smarter than WiiMiiSwitch.

hey the chicken egg thing has stumped people for centuries, so if you actually have the answer to that, then I applaud you.
Yeah. It's actually in the genetics.
The animal that evolved into a chicken must've got said genes before, and such genes could be created while the animal was growing within the egg itself.

Think about it like this: In order to have a chicken, it must've been formed in the egg, and the egg carries the genetic information to create the chicken.

Not necessarily true, what if the mutation first took place inside of the proto-chicken's testicles (germline mutation)

Then you have to ask, what came first - the egg or the testicle/germline cells

According yo Wikipedia, the mutation happens when the Zygote is forming, and I still believe that the mutation has yo take place in the egg first.

Mutations absolutely occur in germ cells - don't have time to explain right now but just Google germline mutation

In this case you could have genes in your gametes that you don't possess in your somatic cells

Ok, I believe you. But just because you're a veterinarian.
