Hacking Are there any other modchips besides SX core?

the only SX core I could find was 200 bucks and I have heard SX OS bricks ur switch if it detects piracy

If you got unpatched unit you can install SAMD21 based modchip, if you patched/Mariko you are stuck with SX Core, and the Chinese clone of it.

i have 2 sx lites,1 is soldered in my switch lite,i flashed spacecraft nx on it and running now latest firmware and atmosphere.
What do we need more?,sxos is done despite is was not bad,i liked it,but with no updates anymore its game over for it.

The (trinket) modchip for unpatched switches are essentially a built in payload injector (think of tegrarcm/rcmloader being automatically sent to the USB port but internally from the switch's SD card). Depending on how you install it, you might still need to hold down the vol+ and/or insert a jig. This wouldn't work for patched/Mariko switches since this exploit got patched.
