Homebrew Question Patched Nintendo Switch?

I looked around a LOT in these fourms, and saw some interesting things. I look at the serial number on the bottom of my Switch, and see a patched number. I checked on the iternet, and showed 100% patched. I did see some fourms saying the serial number isn't always 100% accurate, and I also saw some instances of people being able to install Homebrew on a patched switch. I didn't test if I could jailbreak the Switch. Should I try? Is it worth the hassle to find out? The Switch was bought approx. in the beginning of March 2019. Thanks in advance!

You can try this, if the result is 0x0000 it means it is patched.

It's 100% patched.
