One thing your going to want to look at. is either getting a full sized sd card for the old 3ds or a different one that the micro sd sits in. That thing could be messing things up with your 3ds.

Aswell, since you have mentioned it being a older hack, theres a few luma versions that you should try.

https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases/tag/v7.0.5 incase you had arm9loaderhax on your console.

https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases/tag/v7.1 if you have a older b9s version.

https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases/tag/v8.1 another earlier one to try.

https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases/tag/v10.2.1 and the most recent one.

Of course you can! just Hack'3ds.hacks.guide' your 3DS (did i mess up the links again) and on the "3ds" folder you will have, put faketik (search google). if your old 3ds is completely broken, there is no other option then hacking the new one.

Not really. the save data is encrypted per that old system. If they got the nand backup and their moveable.sed they could look at decrypting that via https://gbatemp.net/threads/extract...nd-backups-and-sd-contents-with-ninfs.499994/
