Best phones under $250

What kind of phone would you need?

Depending on if you are living in the USA or not the POCO X3 should be a good choice. (afaik it doesn't support american bands.)

Are phones locked now to where it doesn't support certain bands? As long as in you can pop in the sim I'm unsure why it wouldn't

The bands are dependent on the hardware radios, not like region locks are software based.

You can check https://willmyphonework.net/ to find out if a model of a phone will work with the radio bands that you want to use.

I don't know where you can get a POCO X3 for less than $250, but the Moto G series is very reasonable, price-wise. I have a Moto G8, and it works a lot faster than my old Nexus 5x.

What phone are you coming from and what are you hoping to experience?

I also use https://www.smartprix.com/ to compare phones.

Probably better one spending a little more like $350 and get a google pixel 4a instead, $250 ain't going to get your anything good these day.
