That is the reason why i wrote that the joycons doesn't matter here. Because there are no v1 or v2 joycons

There are no V1 , V2 Joycon, they share the same XBW/XCW prefix.

In term of serial number they all have XBW, and XCW, we don't really care about revision, if you look at Mariko Motherboard switch like the Animal crossing you would see XKW and for V1 unit you would see stuffs like XAW, XAJ, XAK, people never bother to asks about joycon since there are no requirement of certain version of joycon to run CFW.

hi, I have an old switch with a low serial number in the green so thinking about modding. it is on the latest firmware though, is there anything I should be wary of before starting? I was looking to get an RCM Loader from Ebay for ease of use. I'm open to any help I can possibly get. is there a limit on what size SD card I should use? thanks in advance

thanks, i've read one very similar to this. would you say to still buy the RCM loader and then download fusee-gelee onto it? i've never done a console before just the DS's and 3ds which were very simple. thank you
