I have a couple of Loopy controller boards I need to solder up. I looked at the images on the order page and my extension cable has a lot more wires. Just wondering how I should proceed. here's a pic of the cable. Thanks

interesting, but, just showing a picture with no context of what you actually are wanting to do with it dont help.
You really need a schematic though for the soldering point, perhaps this would help you a bit.

I don't sadlyDo you not have a voltmeter, to check continuity?
I don't sadly
I edited/updated the post. See if you can find someone to borrow from. Do you understand what I'm suggesting? Any voltmeter's gonna have a dial setting for checking continuity on it. You put one probe into contact with the connection inside a hole in the connector port on the extension cable, then touch the other probe to the wire ends you showed above until the needle jumps, showing that you just closed the circuit, i.e. continuity.
If you can't borrow one, like I said, Harbor Freight. It's also possible to do this with a battery, some wire, and a flashlight bulb, but more tedious. Think about it.
Thank you, I've ordered one on amazon.
Yeah I've been playing it by ear for a few years now haha, thanks! You'll find other uses for it if you keep tinkerin' and solderin'. Like adjusting the laser pot on a Gamecube. That's what I bought mine for, originally.
Yeah! I'm excited to get one installedGC controller on 3DS? That's awesome. Especially since it feels like my hands have gotten too big for the normal 3DS (I don't have an XL)

Is there anyway to get these boards anymore?
