I just get a black screen after launching any of the Pokémon NDS games like Black, White, Black 2, White 2, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum. I have gone into the display settings and set the screen rotation to 90 and even tried the others, but nothing has worked. Can someone please help me figure this out? I’d really like to be able to play my games on my switch.

I am able to run melonds now.
The problem facing shown below:

Game: Pokemon - Black Version 2 (USA, Europe) (NDSi Enhanced)

    • Sound is cracking (delayed)
    • Video gameplay lagging
Is it regarding overclock? how to overclock if required. Please help.

@catlover007 When will be the updated retroarch core available?
idk when someone decides to update it. It won't be me though.

What changed in the newest version between now and July? I don't see a changelog listed. (Or I'm blind)
admittedly not the best changelog in the world:
It's been a long while since the last release, but we're finally here! It has a completely new GUI, DSi support and of course a bunch of bug fixes and smaller additions. Since a lot of work went into the GUI there aren't many new optimisations in this release, but this will change for the next one! The controls have been changed, pausing is now done by pressing ZL and ZR at the same time.

Since you are using the new codebase, what about wifi and online functions in general?
Thanks for your work!

it's pretty much a matter of getting libslirp compiled for the Switch to get wifi working. It wasn't included in the last release because I wanted to get it out after all of this time. I want to do a bug fix release, I try to get it in there.

For some reason my controls have switched on release 5, what was a previously is now x and the analogue stick is wrong too. Moving left moves up etc. Works fine on release 4.

that is odd. Do you use any of the screen rotation options?
I have used rotation options before since I have a flipgrip but the controls are the same with any of the rotation options.

EDIT: Fixed. I still had the melonds folder in the root of the sdcard from a previous release and I had rotation enabled which i believe for some reason was causing the controls to be messed up. I have deleted that folder and moved everything to switch/melonds and it's working perfectly.
