will they update again or not? if so when?
Nobody has a crystal ball that can predict the future.

Due to legal issues, TX's future is uncertain at best. It is possible SX OS will never support 11.0.1, and even if it does receive an update to support 11.0.1, support updates for future system versions may never come.

If you don't use XCI files or can live without them, you may want to consider migrating to Atmosphere in the future.

I've been searchinga round a bit, and i figure i dont want to restore sysnand because all my save files etc will be removed as i understand it, and there are other steps im uncertain of.

But if i am currently on firmware 11.01 with SX os 3.1 , can i just take a new SD memorycard, latest atmosphere, inject it from PC with cable, and then run Choi and install firmware 11.0 , and then get back to the other SD card and run SX os as usual ?

I would suggest you try converting your 11.0.1 sxos emunnand in hekate and then pasting it onto a fat32 sdcard. Once you pasted it onto your sdcard patch boot0 and boot1 with a clean copy from your sysnand. If you are able to boot into atmosphere successfully, run the 11.0.1 update again via daybreak and then ensure that you select the exfat option.

PM me if you need any further assistance in setting up atmosphere

If i were you I'd avoid downgrading, since I'm too afraid of doing risky things that might brick my switch, and wait until SX releases a new boot.file. Otherwise, be extremely careful

Downgrading an emunand cannot and would not brick a console. Worst case, it would just render that emunand file inoperable.

Yup. I am hoping they are just on holiday or something...ugh.
Covid is messing up releases of everything.

I mean it took 5-6 weeks for Cold War to even work on my Series X without randomly crashing it and some people having many crashes were bricking their Series X just trying to play new COD. Different times we are in. Collaboration not the same. Every project suffering.

Please don't offer them any more excuses than they have already. At the end of the day, SXOS isn't FOSS built out of collaboration and passion, it's a paid for and licensed product and Xecuter should be ensuring the business continuity of that product. They've been largely behind the curve compared with Atmosphere for over a year now, it's just never taken them this long before.

Regarding Cold War, Activision decided to stick with their annual schedule despite the challenges of developing in 2020 and two entirely new platforms to support. It was their fault and nobody else's.

Still nothing

Do you have a good NAND or emuNAND backup?
If so, then manually launch into SX OX bootloader screen by holding down the power button and pressing Vol+.
Then reload that NAND.
You can also restore an emuNAND as a NAND if you need to.
(Thats what I did.)

Then follow the steps in post 4 of this thread.
I was able to recover like that.

I'm a dumb ass and I updated my firmware to 11.0.1 (due to not reading and wanting to check out that golf game that was released) Anyways long story short I've tried the steps as outlined in the post but I can't boot into Atmosphere. I'll get an error that says "Failed to decrypt the Package2 header (master key revision 3)". Googling the problem doesn't really render any recent results so I'm not sure what I should do. Any ideas? This is an Erista switch. I don't think I can even boot into original fimware. I believe I'm using SYSNAD instead of EMU. Thanks for the help.
