Hello, I found myself in the spot where I need help. I usually am really good at finding ways to fix it but hit a wall at the moment.

My first problem was I updated to 11 in the wrong format in ChoiDuJourNX Fat32 when my SD card was EXfat. So I used a different SD card that was Fat32 and tried to fix my error when the next update happened 11.0.1 to go back to Exfat.

Did the update to Exfat and found myself where it doesnt boot in the custom firmware. I updated the cf to the updated one as of today. so the problem doesn't seem to fall there.

It still boots into SX OS open screen. (so that is good)

I booted in original firmware mode and see that the firmware is still at 11 and it did not update. I also get a notification "a system update is required to use the microsdxc memory card"

I got everything off the sd card and formatted it on my mac to fat32 (maybe I need to use different software to format?) because of the notification.

Ill just put the boot and license on there and hope it starts up in cw.

Any other ideas?

use this guide to go through the setup for the first time use but can skip emunand setup if already done so
https://switch.homebrew.guide/hacking/fuseegelee/sdsetup

then you can use daybreak or Choi point it to a folder with 11.0.0 firmware files and it will downgrade it for you

if you didn't have autorcm enabled, choi should have done it for you unless u disabled it you will need to push a payload to boot

This would be my first time doing that. What steps would you recommend with sx os?

Ah makes sense then if it doesnt boot.
Considering 11.0.1 was a small update, you might be able to do the following. I'd make a sysMMC backup first.
  1. Put Atmosphere onto your SD card
  2. Put the 11.0.0 files onto your SD card
  3. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
  4. Open the Homebrew Launcher
  5. Launch Daybreak
  6. "Update" to 11.0.0
I'd consider just switching to Atmosphere instead of downgrading. TX's future is, at best, uncertain.

Hi, i also accidently updated to firmware 11.0.1 and my SX OS wont boot up the switch properly. If i press the volume + and power button i get in to the SX os menu. From there i have "Boot custom FW" which obviously wont boot since SX os do not support 11.0.1 .

I also have "Boot original FW" and "options" in the options menu i have "autoRCM,Nand,Emunand.payload"

Someone in this thread said it was the same process to install a lower firmware, but i cant install any firmware from this menu? its not the same process, since we normally do it from the SX os menu running inside the switch, and i cant reach that since the FW wont boot up.

EmuNAND is enabled, and i did a backup from when i had firmware 6.20 . How do i downgrade? i cant seem to figure it out.. and help appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply, thanks for clarify, i was looking for a way to run choiDujourNX from the boot menu.

But i have emuNAND enabled, im trying to grapple what this really means but i did a full nand dump at firmware version 6.20 could i just take restore nand from the boot menu? and then upgrade to 11.0 ? i know im in deep waters here but as i've googled a few days emunand enabled could be a solution for this? but im not sure if the 6.20 nand is to old, or to many verions back or how it might work...
