Hacking Racing game for ps vita

Good day. Im working at racing game for ps vita. I spent a lot of time and made few prototypes and now one of them works at 100-130 fps with ai-racer. Previous prototype with more realistic physics was at 40-50 fps only at one car.



I want to make something like Wangan Midnight, night racing and 1-1 competitions. Ps vita can run such type at nice framerates.

Looks pretty cool to me..! I remember seeing this on Reddit a while back... Glad its still happening

now i have a more time and skills to finish this. new video is coming, i want to show previous maded things - garage, cars, etc, and new fx and levels, all is become better.

It looks great! Love how the car looks, it reminds me of Auto Modellista.
When can we expect a release?

you got it right - im a huge fan of automodelista) im trying to recreate original style and add something new.
about release - i dont know, maybe i will make public demo till end of december. im stuck at performance and cant make something really big, so, small game will be great too.

its not a psvita stuff, but i cant find any new screens to illustrate the info. i made optimisation for game, reduced a draw calls and now game runs 90-120 fps at psvita. also im trying to add multithreading to racing physics.

you already got a list of cars in mind? because i got some good ones i could suggest that would look pretty nice in that style

no. i can make any car, its not a problem. so you can suggest any, i will make it after finishing the code process
alright cool, well here's a couple of obvious ones, Delorean, Lancia Stratos, mazda rx7 and rx-8(one of the earlier 2005 ones), ford gt40 mk1/2
and here's some probably less expected ones, mercedes sls and clk gtr, lotus elise, 2002 mitsubishi eclipse, bugatti divo, ford rs 200 evolution, honda nsx-r
a couple of meme oriented cars like the peel p50, peel trident, bmw isetta, citicar, HM Freeway
aaand a couple of classics, 1957 chevy belair, '57 cadillac eldorado, '57 plymouth fury

obviously they don't need to be 1:1 to the real things, because obviously copyright and licensing stuff, and a lot of these suggestions are a part of my own wishlist for whenever i get around to making my own racing game

here's some wishful thinking, but do you ever eventually plan on a PC port? something like automodellista on pc is something that's been lacking forever

as i see, there are no any problems with copyright. you cant use licensed parts, like logo or name, but view of car is not licensed. a lot of racing games work in this way.

and i want to make to various platforms, even for 3ds and xbox360 ( i have a devkit and made some tests). and now im making game at pc and testing it with xbox controller, so, at pc game can work without any problems. my goal is to make small game for ps vita, for pc i maybe will make more complex game with open world, etc. i love psvita, but its a bit limited console, even android devices can run game a lot faster.

thanks. i will make a test game with profiler to measure performance. but i think, that if game can work at 60 fps at ps vita, even old pc (10 years old) will work without problems.

but really need to test. because i worked with nvidia at q2rtx mod (raytracing for quake 2), i made weapons for this game, and nvidia made a present - 2080ti card. so, i dont have any less performance devices to tests.

oldest (working) setup i've got is a laptop with an old core 2 duo and intel gma 965/x3100, ranging all the way up to a ryzen 5 3600 and 1080 ti
