Did you add that line under [stratosphere]?

Yes, but I added it under the instructions.

So it looked like this:

[stratosphere]
; To force-enable nogc, add nogc = 1
; To force-disable nogc, add nogc = 0

nogc = 0

I figured that was the way to do it, but I can try adding it in front of the instructions so it looks like this:

[stratosphere]

nogc = 0

; To force-enable nogc, add nogc = 1
; To force-disable nogc, add nogc = 0

Would that make a difference?

I installed emuMMC and it worked like a charm. Updated it to 10.2.0 with no issues.

When trying to install a newer game Goldleaf told me I was either running a outdated version of Horizon, or was missing sigpatches.

Updated emuMMC to 11.x.x, copied what I believe are newer SigPatches and rebooted.

Now if I open Goldleaf it instantly closes, bringing the HBmenu back up. I tried downloading Goldleaf through the hbstore, but same story. App closes instantly, kicking me back into hbmenu.

What am I missing here?
Use Tinfoil or awoo installer instead

It shouldn't so long as it is under [stratosphere] in your bct.ini, also make sure your bct.ini is in the /atmosphere/config folder

so sd:/atmosphere/config/bct.ini

then

Code:
BCT0
[stage1]
stage2_path = atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin
stage2_mtc_path = atmosphere/fusee-mtc.bin
stage2_addr = 0xF0000000
stage2_entrypoint = 0xF0000000

[stratosphere]
; To force-enable nogc, add nogc = 1
; To force-disable nogc, add nogc = 0

; To opt out of using Atmosphere's NCM reimplementation, add disable_ncm = 1
nogc = 0

I wouldn't recommend updating yet as the latest firmware is 11.0 and it is still a bit unstable for CFW/homebrew. The guide also recommends you to download a title because you can use that title to launch the homebrew menu with more RAM (it will make more sense once you're using homebrew apps). You don't necessarily need it as you can achieve the same effect with a cartridge or by installing the homebrew menu as a .NSP file. If you want to download a title, I would recommend doing it before setting up emuMMC so that way it carries over to emuMMC. Lastly, some people think that Nintendo scans the SD card which is a load of malarkey because not only is that potentially illegal due to privacy violations but it is not enough evidence to claim that someone is hacking as that SD card can be used for many reasons.

It looks like I'm unable to get on the eShop and download an app or game without downloading an update (I'm on the first version, 1.0). Where do I go from here? I'd like to do what you mentioned and install the homebrew menu as an .nsp but the guide doesn't seem to talk about that method or the steps to take. (I'm using the /nh-server.github.io guide, btw.) Thanks for all the help.

Here is a link to the homebrew menu as a .NSP file. You install it with any title manager homebrew. I recommend using Awoo Installer.

Goldleaf 0.9 Dev works:

Tinleaf works:

New Awoo works:

I'm using EmuMMC 10.3/AMS 15.0 and SysNand 11.0.1. Before i updated SysNand to 11.0 everything was working fine. Now when i enable AutoRCM and put the switch in Sleep Mode through SysNand it wont wake up anymore. On the other hand, everything is working fine on EmuMMC 10.3, i can put on sleep mode with no problem. Is there a fix for that?

*Also forget to mention i'm using hekate 5.5.1 now, previously was using 5.3.3

Do you have the old sd card and can access your files if so the old license.dat file might still be fine

Also your previous serial for sx should work for the same switch.

worse case just switch to atmo :P

Yeah, it's in the atmosphere/config folder, and it's exactly how you have it.

The only thing is mine is all caps, BCT.ini.

I doubt that would make a difference, but other than that, it looks like it should be right.

I dunno.

Forgive me for being a total noob, im looking to get a mariko switch and someone will hack it for me via sx pro, after that will it be exactly be like the hackable v1 switch or there is a downsides

Can i multiboot cfw (atmosphere) ubuntu android and ofw ?

The pro dongles are already pre-activated iirc

Rename and try? Also use hekate to fix archive bits, just in case for whatever reason that is the problem

i know that..thats why i ask what i can do because i have a switch unit....sxpro activated but it asks for a license code which i dont have cause of that
