Just wanted to say thanks for this, as this overclock, along with the 60fps/dynamic resolution changes on Witcher 3, have made it way more playable in handheld mode for me!

Would it be possible to have a sort of auto-adjust mode based upon load-percentage?
Basically start at normal clocks and if load is stable(below 50% or certain threshold) with no performance drop then lower the CPU/ or GPU.
Likewise if the CPU/GPU is being hammered consistently(say above 50% load) then move the CPU or GPU up a clock level?
Additionally I suppose it would make sense to take into account temperature and down-clock if temp goes over a limit

FWIW it doesn't seem like the GPU uses much power when its idle regardless of clocks. Its not like Sonic Mania is downclocking the GPU to play for 5+ hours off battery.

CPU doesn't seem as efficient as it can get pretty hot even doing nothing.

just wanted to ask, is there any reason why handheld(battery only) cap at 460mhz?

when using charger gpu can managed to 768

so when charging, console fully powered only from charger only? and the battery not powering the console only charging?

just want to know how this 460mhz cap works

many thanks for dev....:D

i tried using powerbank while playing xeno 2 1224/768 it consume around 5watt on lite compared old switch if using normal clock 1020/460 it consume same power, my assuming here, its safe using uncaped handheld mode for 768mhz gpu on switch lite or new model

damn uncapped handled 768 battery only, last 3hrs on xeno 2, 2hrs 46m on wolf series
the real power consumption only 4,5watt drain from lite battery
pretty impresive only 4,5 watt 1224/768 config, blew away other gaming hardware
when using powerbank case 8000mah only 15$, my lite can manage 9hrs 1224/768 on xeno 2 mod gameplay

Help please guys, I had installed SYS-CLK and ReverseNX but now i cant get any games or apps to boot.i just end up with a blank screen after i choose the profile on the switch it also completely locks up so i have to force shut down the switch. I have since removed all the files but still cant boot anything

Anyone aware of a battery case that actually charges the Switch at the same rate as the official charger (so you can use max overclock)? The Newdery one I bought suggested it did, but I only get access to 768.

I compiled my personal sys-clk without the handheld limiter. I'll give it to you for free, I'll pm you the link.
Can I get a link to that as well?

Is the cap removed for handheld battery mode only or for all modes? I have a battery case that's always charging the system, and I've always wanted the ability to go full max overclock undocked without having to use the official charger. I rarely play for long periods anyway.

the thing is, it can go higher but do you want your battery to die in a half hour?
usb charger and official gives it more power so thats why the increase.
the 460mhz cap is a protection to not damage or make the battery go flat in less than an hour

regular sys clk lets you go to docked on a battery pack. It only lets you go that high cause its not recognized as an official charger

On the older switches its going to make the battery go flat in about less than an hour honestly. Haven't checked lite but i still wouldn't recomend

my lite using 768mhz battery only with ucapped build, manage 3hrs playing xeno 2, 2hr40m playing wolf2

so other word, lite consume only 4.5-4.9watt(1224/768 config) on some heavy game like xeno2, wolf series, witcher, doom eternal (all game tested using graphics mod + reversenx, to forced 720p) when playing witcher fan crank to 99% lol in some heavy area

well i dont expect the lite only comsume 4.8w, when i saw mariko model on digital foundry, its consume around 6watt, maybe bigger screen and powering 2 battery joycon has impact on mariko aka new model

768 lite = 384/460 old model in terms of power consume

thanks to smaller screen has better dpi & no joycon battery make lite less power consumption

already asked they have no reply on it

my asumption here :
older model playing witcher 3 at 460mhz (dynamic res) last 2hrs 36m
lite model witcher 3 at 768mhz (forced native 720p) last 2hrs 40m
while the battery itself old model 16w vs lite 13.6w
old model surely has more stress on official config (assuming safe config from nintedo default)

thankfully for dev creating such amazing piece of this, so the lite owner treating like other model, can taste what docked visual quality but on compact size :D glad i chose the lite

HI,
old Switch, only using it in docked.

1.) Is it somehow possible to set a clock for all Games? It´s kinda frustrating to find a good one for each Game.

2.) Would it be a problem to set for every Game the max boost clock constantly?

Also looking for this option. It would be great if we could set global clocks for each of the modes (Docked/Handheld/Charging/Etc), but have a check for any games specifically mentioned in the ini file (in which case the game-specific settings would override the global settings).

Has anyone tested to see if the Nintendo certified Powercore 20,100mah battery allows for more than 768mhz on GPU? The non-Nintendo approved one looks largely the same albeit with a Nintendo logo, so I'd see not much reason for it to go beyond 768mhz.
