Sorry what is erista? (Maybe I should have searched this thread) my switch is the old one that you could jailbreak with a jig.

Turns out the game crashes with max cpu so I have only put it on max gpu! Any max temperatures I should look out for?

Erista are the original v0 and v1 switches (v0 isn't patched, v1 is) Mariko are the redbox and lite
temps are whatever, the cooling can handle 2.3ghz cpu 1.2ghz gpu with no problem

Where to put the overclock file on mariko switch

What luck have people had with memory overclocking with the 3200mhz limit removed? Bandwidth seems to be a massive limitation, & having no limits in sys-clk would be quite of an interesting experiment.

well so far its complicated to do, but from what i could tell, basicly any game that struggled before with a 60fps code has had any fps drops gone. 720p no dynares xenoblade 2, 60fps astral chain. 60fps breath of the wild (kinda it drops alot) 60fps splatoon plaza in docked and so on

First of all sys-clk does wonders for Resident Evil 6 on my Switch Lite. When I first played the game it was like running 14-17fps contantly. I thought it was a mistake but I could not get it any better. Now via sys-clk everything is capped at the highest settings it's not even good, it's awesome getting 60fps and no lag at all.

I am also curious about removing the 460MHz cap. With the official Nintendo charger plugged in I can set the GPU at 921MHz via the application and overlay. It's better to tone down to 844MHz or 768MHz, because at 921MHz you really hear the fan going and you will feel it within the switch when holding. I don't really mind if the battery decreases at 786MHz, but if you can provide me this that would be great.
temps are whatever honestly, the main issue is power draw (even then theres no problem with mariko there so ehh, really an oc should be good)

I think that's a limit within HOS.
Maybe something that could be changed with Mesosphere in the future? (including the other clock limits aswell...)

Does anyone have experience with overclocking erista a little above 460mhz? Like 537mhz for example, I honestly doubt that would be a problem for the battery.

loot at my other posts. and no, anything higher than 460mhz is going to kill the battery

ah alright I'll check out your post history.

Also just wondering, I've just overclocked once at full speeds on Erista, while playing Witcher 3 for an hour before giving up as the fan was really loud.
Any chance I fucked up my Switch in the long run? Like internally?
How much are max clocks considered as safe? (docked)

921 is ehh? but it should be fine with no cpu oc. Temps are whatever as the cooling can handle 1.2gpu 2.5cpu 2.1 ram. the problem is power draw. Is it dangerous, no not really, but its not a good idea to max oc.1.5 is good, after that shit escalates fast

I played with 1.7 - 921 and 1.6ghz haha
eh whatever, guess it will be fine for just doing it once

Is there a faq with more details like having a v1 switch, what kind of settings can I put where it lets the switch still charge while playing, vs draining while still plugged in.

is there any build unlimited sys-clk for handheld lite? just curios, i want try on some games...
last time i got limited to 1785,921,1600
