Hacking R4 card error on 3ds Sys 11.14.0-46U

So i bought one of those 428 games in one cartridge to play some ds games on my 3ds,
It looked like an r4 card
(see picture attached to correct if it is)
when i unboxed it and went to test it.
After loading the game, i get an error which says:
An error occured (ErrDisp)
Error type: generic

Process id: 19
Process name: am
Process title id: 0x0004013000001502

Address: 0x001093aa
Error code: 0xc8804478

Press any button to reboot.

I don't know alot about these things, and also, my 3ds has this cfw and stuff when it arrived (my 3ds was second-hand), and i also updated it to 11.14.0-46U recently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!, Just wanna play ds games inside the card.

PS: the same type of error appears when i select the ds option in download play.

OK so if the error is also happening in ds download play it means ds mode is broken on your 3ds. But fear not it is an easy fix.

DSi / DS functionality is broken
What You Need

• The latest release of TWLFix-CFW (the .3dsx file)

Instructions
Section I - Prep Work

1. Power off your device
2. Insert your SD card into your computer
3. Create a folder named 3ds on the root of your SD card if it does not already exist
4. Copy TWLFix-CFW.3dsx to the /3ds/ folder on your SD card
5. Reinsert your SD card into your device

Section II - Fixing TWL

1. Open the Homebrew Launcher
2. Launch TWLFix-CFW from the list of homebrew
3. Press (A) to uninstall the broken TWL titles
4. Press (Start) to reboot the device
5. Perform a System Update by going to System Settings, then “Other Settings”, then going all the way to the right and using “System Update”
   • The update will see that the essential TWL titles have been uninstalled, and will redownload and reinstall them
6. Once the update is complete, tap “OK” to reboot the device

Your DS mode will now be fixed on your 3ds.

A picture of the front is not much help. We need a picture of the back (especially the area around the pins) to tell which exact cart it is. PCB color, and any markings on the PCB by the pins are often a big telltale sign of which cart it is.

The 3ds will notice you are missing ds files and download only the ones that are missing and then your ds mode will work again.

Hello, i followed your guide, it works perfectly now, and on the card aswell, Thank you very much! Now i just have to deal with the potential time bomb on the card...

That 428-in-1 flashcart is a relabeled Ace3DS Plus. You don't have to worry about time bomb.
