Hacking Question Question about bans

I have used Atmosphere on my Switch with 90DNS and no EmuMMC. Did I do something wrong? I heard that the SysNAND could be dirty or something. I haven’t done a lot of things, I only did a NAND Backup, installed Tinfoil (and never used it really) and some HB Apps. Will I get banned?

If you have installed any nsp,xci,nsz,xcz (even homebrew nsp like tinfoil) it "dirties" the nand. What alot of people mean by dirty nand is installing stuff thats not legitimately bought or installed homebrews (when I say install, I mean putting it on the home screen. Not putting the nro files in the switch folder)

So since you have installed stuff thats not from eshop, it is considered "dirty". If you try to connect to nintendo servers at this point, you will be flagged for a ban.

Best course of actions now is make an emmunand/emummc (both mean same thing). Restore a clean nand backup (a nand backup that was created before you installed tinfoil, etc,) thats your best course of action. Also if you're gonna use tinfoil for the "shops" 90dns bogs down your download speed. Install incognito_rcm/atmosphere incognito on ur emunand.

Can I just uninstall Tinfoil or do I need to restore the backup? And if I need to restore, how do I do that if I don’t have enough space for all files to fit on the SD?

Buy a bigger sd card

You have 2 options.
1) restore a clean nand backup. This is the preferred option
2) use a homebrew called haku33. It wipes your system like a factory restore. But its not guaranteed to be ban proof.

As for space. Buy a 128gb or 256gb. This way you can create an emunand for all of your "backups" and cfw stuff. Use sysnand for legit stuff and online.
