This isn't some kind of HOME Menu extension, injection, patch, etc.: uLaunch is an entire reimplementation (of key components), 100% open-source!

No. It will never support SX OS unless TX adds support. It's not the same but similar to MissionControl.
You can't add support for SX OS as a dev without having the CFW source code or at least know, what stuff they support under the surface and what not.

There's a build in xortrolls discord that works on latest ams and 11.0.0, and im using the stock dark theme from the ulaunch theme subreddit, so good!

I voted the last answer but the reality is i'm happy about this project but I would prefer nintendo do this type of thing themself and i'm not seeing myself messing around with a menu if I already have the principal one

anyone else have an issue where you press home button in a game, and the system crashes? Happens on all games. Using the latest build from discord, 12/17 build, with HOS 10.

Don't think so. At least you have to try with the build from Discord.

For posterity's sake, it's still not working on Atmosphère 0.18.1. The menu itself will show up, but hitting the HOME button after launching certain titles will cause a system crash. Apparently, that's a known issue.

Last update on Discord was on Feb. 12th 2021 though, so it definitely seems like Xor hasn't dropped the ball yet!
Looking forward to a working build.
