Hello,
I'm running into a bit of a snare here and I'm wondering if anyone can help. I've got a emuNAND partition successfully booting with Hekate (v5.3.3) + AMS (v0.14.4) running on firmware v10.2.0 with the fuse-secondary payload. I've got the latest sigpatches meant for this build (Hekate+AMD+fss0), but I can't for the life of me get Goldleaf to install any NSPs, I've tried a few. Anyone else having this issue?
Have you tried using blawar's Tinfoil? Also, what is the error message you are receiving?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Sorry if my post didn't make much sense but no I'm injecting Hekate. From my understanding Hekate uses fuse-secondary to boot AMS when using emuNAND, right?
That's one way to do it, yes.

Just tried installing blawar's Tinfoil and I get a corrupt data message when I try to load it. Would it be possible and/or easier to use fuse-primary with emuNAND? The error I get from Goldleaf is:
Error: 2002-4518 (0x234C02)
Module: File system (2)
Description: Invalid NCA (might mean missing sigpatches or a too low firmware) (4518)

Are you sure you're using the correct or up to date signature patches for your setup? I would recommend switching to a fusee-primary setup with the latest fusee-primary signature patches. Let me know if you need steps.

I just loaded them over again from AIO updater, rebooted, and tested to double check and they're still not working. Yes please on those steps.

If you're using an emuMMC, do the following:
  1. Make sure the SD card is FAT32.
  2. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
  3. Download the latest Atmosphere
  4. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
  5. Download these signature patches (make sure the patches match the Atmosphere version)
  6. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
  7. Set "emummc!enabled = 1" in emummc/emummc.ini
  8. Download the 10.2.0 update and put the 10.2.0 folder onto the root of your SD card
  9. Put the SD into your Switch
  10. Enter RCM
  11. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
  12. Check that you've booted into your emuMMC
  13. If you're in your emuMMC, open the Homebrew Launcher, preferably using title override (R on a game instead of using the photo album)
  14. Boot Daybreak
  15. Select the 10.2.0 update. Choose the 10.2.0 exFAT option, even though you're using FAT32.

Try using fuse primary

That did the trick. Thank you so much!!!

Having an issue following The Bollen Gemini youtube video (most recent one) . When I inject the payload a atmosphere splash screen will pop up followed by a different one then it will boot up into the Nintendo one like it normally would. Im using a rcm jig, one of the first switches to come out ( verified with the tool ). I have formatted and restarted 3 times. Only thing that is different that I am doing is using a type-c to type-c but I dont think that would cause any issues.

What's the problem exactly?

So my niece wants a Switch for Xmas, so im looking for an unpatched switch. For a CFW to be installed (Atmosphere) does it matter what FW version is on the switch?

It doesn't matter since it's a hardware exploit and can't be patched with software updates.

Hello!

What is the proper way to complete power off with sxos and autorcm? When turned off, the battery still runs out pretty quickly.
I know i can do manual shutdown in RCM by holding the power button, but are there better ways to power off or should i switch to atmosphere?

Hi,
I am a N00B to this. I have a first gen switch with SX Pro (and obviously SX OS). I am using this to load cheats for my offline games (not interested in downloading pirated games, etc.). To update the cheats, I am using the aio-cheats-updater (HamletduFromage). As there are now issues with Team-Xecuter, I am looking for a way to use cheats for my games without SX OS. If I can use the SX Pro dongle to boot, that would be great (I think it's the simplest way according to various forums). Can someone walk me through this please ? I can't afford to grind in games anymore. As an ex-action replay user, Thank you.

Can anyone help? Thank you!

Hello everyone, noob here.
So, I've had a bricked switch for a while, and haven't found the specific solution for my case. I'd greatly appreciate the help of any of you before I sell it for spare parts.
  • The switch was in 8.1.0 or 9.1.0 before it all happened. (12 burnt fuses from hekate's info)
  • I got home one day and got the bsod
  • Followed all the steps from switch.homebrew.guide/usingcfw/manualchoiupgrade for a downgrade to 6.0.1 using my own keys and everything. I cleared SYSTEM and everything
  • Black screen and no additional information, yet I can still access RCM/Hekate
Now, I know this is probably fuse related since I was on a higher version, but with the switch not turning on I'm not able to use ChoiDujourNX to update and ChoiDujour can't be used over 6.2.0.

My question is: ¿what options do I have left? ¿can I get a 64GB card and use an emunand and save the switch from there?

Thank you very much in advance for your help :D

1. i have a cfw switch and i've been told not to connect to internet/wifi (i've tried and it didn't work) so how would 90NDS work?

2. if i buy a microsd card and fill games on it would it overwrite the games's save datas that are currently in my switch and would i have to inject payload every single time i switch those micro sd cards?

Hekate bypasses all fuse issues, so that's probably not your issue. If you haven't already done so, follow this guide:

Hi all,

I have a (probably simple) question that I was hoping someone could answer.

My switch is currently setup to CFW on emunand with atmosphere. I've kept my sysnand clean and kept a backup of it as well. My sysnand is still at 9.1.0 I think, so is my emunand. I'm currently looking to buy and play the new Pokemon expansion online on my sysnand so I need to be on latest firmware. Should I update my sysnand through Nintendo normally and will this cause my Switch to no longer boot into emunand through Hekate? I want to keep my emunand on the older firmware.

I think Atmosphere currently supports 10.2.0 (latest firmware)? So if I update my sysnand normally, if I update my SD card with the latest version of atmosphere, will I be able to boot into my CFW using Hekate and TegraRCM?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to screw up my current CFW setup. I don't want to use ChoiDejour on sysnand as I'd like to keep it clean if possible.

Update Hekate and Atmosphere. After that update your SysNand with official method.
