You are looking for DSi Enhanced Games. Search in google dsi enhanced games list and youll find some lists.

He specifically said DSi games. That means games exclusive to the DSi, and do not work on original DS consoles.

Mmh, maybe I didn't get it. But by this: "Wikipedia only list DSi ware not DS games that have DSi functionality or at least work better on the DSi.", I understood he was looking for DS games with DSI enhancements.

Ah, I misunderstood then.

The SD card forwarder template on the SD side has been updated!
  • Sound crackles should no longer occur in some games.
  • These games no longer require the L button to be held:
    • Kabu Trader Shun
    • Kung Fu Panda
    • Surf's Up
  • UPDATE 10/4/2020: Save creation code has been updated!
To update, just follow Part 1.1 in the first post!
Overwrite, when asked.

Okay, this does not work on the original R4 in the old 2DS. But it works on the r4isdhc. Tested on both. On the R4 i get a selection screen with all text missing and I can't see anything on it. Tested the flashcard on a fat DS and it works so is not the card, maybe is the connection pins on the card or something?

Edit: The New 2DS XL is even worse in space, I can barely remove the r4isdhc from it and is slimer than the R4. I guess it could work on an old 3DS?

Edit2: Good news, the forwarded can be used to bypass some flashcards time bombs, just don't expect the same quality of emulation.

TWiLight Menu++ works okay on DSI boosted DS games run from the SD card, at least the ones I have tried. In fact sometimes it works better than games run using the forwarded on flashcards. So far the only noticeable quality improvement is with Sonic Classic Collection.

For those who have been getting a Guru Meditation Error, the SD card forwarder template on SD side has been updated to fix the bug!
As always, follow Part 1.1 in the first post to update!

Hi, I recently used this to get ds games on my new 3ds home screen and it worked and on my other new 3ds I tried it and I got a "guru meditation error instruction not found" is there something I could have done wrong when installing twilight or possibly forgot when doing the forwarder steps? I'd really appreciate the help, thanks.

Hi Robz,
first of all thanks for your great work!
I have a few question to make cause I can't properly understand some things on the first page's guide.

I use your forwarder without TWMenu++ installed as a app, on a SD Card.

In paragraph 1.1 you state "After you extract the pack for your card, you can edit "sd:/nds/ntr_forwarder.ini" and change one of the settings. This isn't possible for SD Card, Acekard RPG, R4 DS, and R4i Gold RTS." but after that "SOUND_FREQ: (Only for games on SD card.) If set to 1, sound will play at 48khz, instead of 32khz."

I can't understand why in the first part you say that you can't do a heck on SD card but after you say that SOUND_FREQ is modifiable only on SD card.

I tried then to find that SOUND_FREQ setting in inis but I could not fine in both of them, I thought that probabily I have to write it in nds-forwarder.bootstrap.ini but I didn't do anything, I choose to ask you before edit files

So I moved on and as suggested in FAQ I changed BOOST_CPU to 1 in nds-forwarder.bootstrap.ini

so the question is

if a SD card user wanna only use 133mhz boost and 48khz sound what he has to do precisely?

sorry if I could sound dumb, but I'm not a native english speaker

I updated the first post.

Hi! Thanks for your hard work! I have a question for you. Whenever I dump my Pokemon B2W2 games, patch them, create a forwarder, install it, after the NDS Bootstrap "Please wait...", both screens are white and the games don't load at all. Even TwilightMenu fails to load them... is it because they are NOT compatible on an O2DS and its SD Card? (My roms are on my SD Card, and are dragged 'n dropped in the forwarder maker from there)

You need to reformat the SD card to FAT32 with 32kb cluster size.

Nice method! There's any cons to play DS/DSi games via these fowarders using my flashcart? I used to play on my R4i Gold (2020), but the fowarders it's very much better looking than that flashcarts ancient lists.

Depends on your flashcard being better or worse than YSmenu.
