I think I wasn't clear enough, I know how to do it by myself haha, I just need the connector's part number, but I think I found it out. I've ordered some of what I think are the correct connectors, will update! :)

What was the part called? I'm having a similar issue and I am going to replace it but I don't know the part's name or how I am supposed to put the part onto the console :(

Sorry to jump in. Which point on the back of the motherboard would the black dot be as I have ripped off the front points. Many thanks.

I'm missing that pin. From the looks of the pin out it's a ground pin? If so do I just need to connect a wire to the ground on the card reader to a screw on the mobo?

I want to know the same thing.
I've got the black wire missing and the ground next to it. So unsure what needs to be done about the gnd.

Hello I am having the same problems and I am looking for which connection is gnd (green and / or gray line) and I would be very grateful if you could answer my questions, did you solder the green line to the sd reader as seen in the diagram? because in the photo you published it seems that it is not connected / soldered to the sd reader and apart from this, the gnd line (gray color) that you see in the diagram did you make that connection or not?
Sorry my bad English I use the Google translator.

You have to post in English my friend, forum policy.

Hello there
You are right, i didt solder the green line to the sd reader pin, but what i did was scratched of the flexi cable to make a solder point anywhere before the cap, in that way i didt have to come so nere the capicator,
gnd is connected only with screw, didt have to solder anyting for that :)
Hopes that helps, sorry late reply

Thank you very much for all your help.

So you did the solder for the green line but at another connection point.
And the gray line I just tighten it to the sd reader screw.
Did I understand well or am I wrong?
The google translator sometimes doesn't translate the words well and I just want to make sure I have understood everything correctly.

And can I know how you did to break the sd reader that way? Maybe if something goes wrong I will do the same but I don't want to break it incorrectly.
And I only need a scissors, screwdrivers, soldering iron, a magnifying glass, alcohol and an awg copper wire?
I am missing something or that would be all.

No, there is no other. I just found the leed after i cuted the flex cable with a scissor. Scrathed it with a knife, cleaned and fluxed. There is your solder Point, you can see it in the pic if you zoom in.
The gnd i totally ignored, it gets gnd when it’s in the right place with the screw connected to the console gnd.
Was that clearer?
And a new sd reader is around 5$;)
The only think i want to stress is to be careful when soldering too the test pads, pre bend the wire, I used a lot off superglue after I took the pic.
Good luck

Hello
Can you tell me what you did with the red line? It looks like it is not connected anywhere
I didt touch the red one, as it goes to the resistor, but what i did was, make a other solder point after the resistor on the flex cable, and solder it the green line
