Hardware headset not working

hello im using a sades wolf headset and when i plug it in the usb port it doesn't work
my brother used it on my ps4 do you guys think thats what causing the issue?

You can check if the volume mixer is pointed at the headphone, instead of to another speaker etc, and also that it is not muted, other than that Im not sure as the computer detects the headphone.

Similar concept to configuring the headphone as an sound output, you need to configure it as a mic input for it to work, if it doesn't appear under the list for mic option then it probably won't work.

yea its confirgued as a usb mic

On Windows, control panel -> sound -> recording you can check if the Sada wolf headset has it as an option for recording.
