snes: "so that's what they meant by blast processing!"
genesis: <smoking a cigarette> "yeah, you didn't think that was a simple marketing ploy, did you!?"

Unironically sounds more like a Sega 32X ad.

No, srsly, look it up, if you dare...or watch SomeCallMeJohnny's Knuckles' Chaotix review.

Serious reply to a serious question.

Very rarely there has been some contact between a members parents and the site, either them contacting us or us contacting them. Costello has had to contact peoples parents at least twice to my knowledge when they were performing malicious acts (using botnets/ attempting hacks) so he could warn the parents that their kid has to stop or he will take further action. On a couple of occasions parents have been contacted on facebook by other staff when their 12 year olds have been idiots and have been creating alts and spamming the site with porn etc.

Parents have contacted us a couple of times to find out what the hell GBAtemp is because they were worried, especially when this place was more underground. At least once a parent asked that we block their IP and ban their kids account which was done too. On at least one occasion I remember a parent making an account here just to complain that their kid bricked their console while attempting to mod it following one of our guides. I think that parent was helped to fix the brick by members here after they calmed down.

I have some vague memory of possibly being involved with helping that parent. I know I've helped a few parents in the past who joined just to ask for help due to their kids bricking or doing something to screw up their systems when trying to hack them.

Wasn't there one time about a decade ago where there was a post on the front page saying that a member was reported to his country's authorities because he got buttsore and DOS attacked the site?

Several of us are of course intimately familiar with ur mum, though that is hardly an exclusive club.
You have no standards.

Yeah that is one of the two instances I was talking about, Costello contacted the persons father too. The person had a botnet and was trying to take the site down, it was too weak and didn't manage it.

Also, how could a member from 2020 know about this? Are you by any chance an alt of a banned member? :vul1:
