Hacking Modding Wii U question

Hello all, I am pretty new to the modding scene and I want to start out with my Wii U the guides are straightforward but I got one concern about doing it.
I have my Nintendo account/id linked to my 3ds and Switch as well. Will hacking my Wii U effect them if it gets banned for some reason? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am still getting the hang of things. I want to mod my Wii U for emulation only and I am not going to mess with online multiplayer stuff.

No they don't ban on Wii U unless you're modding saves and using them to play online. You can even play Wii U backups online and not get banned. Switch on the other hand if you have a hacked one and go online with it they will ban you.

Nintendo doesn't care about the wii u. Best example is the working freeshop. They fixed it for the 3ds and switch. But not for the wii u. I play splatoon and mario kart 8 on cemu online. As long as you don't cheat online, you're safe.

Thanks for the fast replies. I'm planning to mod my Wii U for now. I probably won't do anything with my Switch since I want to play online and all that stuff. I was just curious if it would effect my account since it's connected to the three systems. It's nice knowing it's safe to do now. I'll get a sd card tonight and start doing it.

I should clarify if you do one day want to mod your switch (if it's moddable) you can use emunand and play backups, and keep sysnand clean for online use.
