Hacking Question Factory restoring Switch with SX OS Emunand

Hi guys,

I'm a beginner with SX OS. I'm running SX OS on Emunand and I want to factory restore Switch on Emunand.
I know how to factory restore on OFW, but I want to factory restore the Switch in CFW / Emunand?

Do I need to format the SD card, start over again with copying boot.dat, license file and that's it, or do I need to go to system and do a factory restore from there, but that will also format the SD card?

Best way to go is to flash new firmware via ChoiDujourNX and tick the reset option.
Remeber that you cannot flash the same firmware version, you will need a higher / lower firmware

No, That will factory reset your FW to original state, you have to format your SDcard to wipe emunand and contents of it.

Ah, that was what I was looking for. So, to get it clear, backup the license.dat file, format SD card (this will format the whole SD card, also the hidden emunand partition?), put back boot.dat and license file, create new emunand and ready to go?

I think I need to format the SD card on the pc, right?
