It has already been written that to access the Medicat.img files it must be mounted with OSFMount. Also 7zip allows to extract the files from the .imgHi ! I have download 3 times but it says only read files and i can't charge the img it says might be corrupted.....the hash seems to be ok
i have tried that and its the same…...It has already been written that to access the Medicat.img files it must be mounted with OSFMount. Also 7zip allows to extract the files from the .img
when i use OSFMount i can only open the EFI partition, tha main one it says " protected against writing"i have tried that and its the same…...
How can you do that? The img have a tag read only, remove the tag and can write on my USB drive
Beucaise ive download medicat severa times and the problem is still there.... "read only"How can you do that?
@Chansm
you need MiniTool Partition Wizard Enterprise (it's in Portable Apps folder) to move EFI partition on the right end, then expand Medicat partition
you can add them in the '\System\Drivers\' folder (it's the partition with all the iso and portable apps)Hi @Jayro,
First, thanks for your fantastic job !
But, as far the Microsoft "Surface Laptop 3" with AMD Ryzen 5 is concerned :
- When a prog of your suite is chosen and is running well, generally the mouse, the keyboard and the touchpad aren't active, and there is no possibility to use the prog.
- Among the exceptions, with Active Boot Disk mini OS the mouse answers but not the keyboard nor the touchapad.
Is there a way to inject the drivers of my laptop ?
Have a good day,
-Valp
Disable secure boot in your bios first.i'm getting a boot sig error when trying to boot via usb
i'm using an asus rog stix GL703GE laptop
You've got to boot into BIOS mode, and use MEMDISK. (That's why I put the [BIOS+MEMDISK] tags next to the ISO, so you know what boot modes are needed to make it boot right)Hi,
I created a 20.07 usb stick, moved the ventoy partition to the end (minus 1 MB), I extended the first partition (I forgot to leave 1 MB), I pushed the 20.08 update files to the stick as described in the readme, I was able to boot (after deactivating secure boot on the laptop) the key successfully (and it is very nice).
I tried SpinRite and it gave me :
No bootfile found for UEFI!I am actually using SpinRite from a 20.07 key on an older computer successfully... Strange, Ventoy update ?
Maybe the image does not support X64 UEFI!
Thanks again for your work
i have done everything…..the problem remains!@joaopais you need to do two simple steps:
1 - check hash of Medicat.img file
2 - run ImageUSB and write Medicat.img file to your USB stick, no need to mount or extract anything
when i ried to mount the .img it says " protected against writing" only read….
i also tried to creat the bootable usb using "imageUSB" and its the same…...error "only read" thats why i tried to mount the .img to tried to extract whats inside…...I'm sorry, but I honestly can't understand why you want to MOUNT the file Medicat.img
