Hi all!
I´m about to sell my old Nintendo Switch to save up and get another one.
I wanted to unlink my account from the switch, but there is no such option like that anymore I think. Then I saw the delete option. Will that delete the entire account with the games I had purchased on it? Will I be able to later add it on a different switch and keep my games?
Thank you in advance.

Go into Settings -> Users -> Select the one you want to delete -> Scroll all the way down and click "Delete User", that will unlink your account and delete the user from the Switch locally, but you will be able to link it again on a different Switch. Be sure to read everything carefully

quick question, I can't seem to be able t delete the account since the switch has been banned. Is there a way to unlink it via homebrew or something?

I doubt there's a way to unlink it with homebrew because your account and Switch are linked in Nintendo's servers. You can link your account to a different Switch even if you don't unlink it from your current one, but you can only have one Switch set as your account's "primary console" (all other Switches you put your account on will be considered "secondary consoles"). I assume the banned Switch is set as your account's primary console. You can play on secondary consoles, but only while connected to the internet and I think there are other restrictions too. You can de-register a Switch as the primary console from within the eShop, but if you're banned and can't access the eShop I think you may have to contact Nintendo and ask them to do it for you.

Also, when selling the banned Switch, please make sure the buyer knows it's banned. It'll still sell because many people want to buy a hackable Switch and don't care about being banned, but it'd suck if some little kid who wanted a normal Switch got stuck with a banned one.

all he has to do is go to the Nintendo website, log in, and go to the shop menu, them find "deregister primary console" Keep in mind that you can only do this once per year but just do this, them link your account to your new switch.

Thank you! Should I be concerned with being banned from the new switch when adding this account?

Thanks, I'm sure I indicated it's banned too.
