i always end up in applet mode when going into album, can't seem not to.

I was about to ask how to make it so that holding R on Album goes to Applet mode while choosing it normally goes to the Album, because changing the command to R doesn't work.

Does it need to be in a different directory?

I think it's an option in one of the .ini files.
As to which one in particular, I'm not sure.

I modified it with the Deep Sea Toolbox app. It has an option to change the default button for the Album applet.

Because applets have access to a limited amount of RAM but certain homebrew applications would benefit from the increased amount of RAM such as emulators.

There are two ways to load the homebrew launcher:

1. Applet mode (using an app like the Photo Album, which is an applet)
2. Title override (holding R while launching a game)

You should use title override whenever possible. You get more memory access.

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before.
I accidentally updated from 10.0.4 to 10.1.0 and while I can access Atmosphere without problems without changing anything (system version: 10.1.0|AMS 0.13.0|S), my backups don't load and neither do the cartridges I have (probably due to the updates and DLC that can't be loaded).
"Could not start the software. Please try again from the HOME menu".
Anyone knows why is this happening? Thanks!

you need to get the latest sigpatches:

If you use hekate:

Hello. I decided to upgrade my Switch from 9.10 > 10.1.0 and my atmosphere to 0.13 and also Hekate.

I injected the payload using TegraRcmGUI 2.6 portable. The switch boots with atmosphere logo but I get into the Switch homescreen. When I try to "Reboot to Payload v.1.0.0 atmosphere is trying to boot but the Switch homescreen pops up after a while.

What am I missing here? I probably did a mistake somewhere. Also system says : Current system version 9.1.0|AMS 0.13.0|E

well seems everything works fine? AMS looks like stock firmware and if it says 9.1.0|AMS 0.13.0|E then you are running AMS! Try to open up the album and see if homebrews comes up?

Make sure you properly updated Atmosphere and are using the latest fusee_primary.bin file (assuming you're not using Hekate/fss0).
