So a lot of people were disappointed by the Direct Mini and a lot of people have ignored the shooter that was in it because it looks like a generic shooter. After getting curious and getting a pc key, it is actually a very fun and competitive game.

Here is the game in short terms: Third Person Valorant with a heavier "Seige" theme.

The game plays a lot more like Halo and CoD because it is more targeted to console players and recoil control on consoles sounds like a nightmare. In this game you really just have to aim down when shooting to compensate recoil so it is more "casual". That doesn't take away the fact that it is very fun to play, and it does not have the highest skill barrier. There is also a casual gamemode that allows for re spawning.

When the game goes free to play, I highly recommend the game for people that need a shooter on the switch. I think this game beats warface for the best shooter on the switch which is pretty sad that Warface is the standard. The game is crossplay so you shouldn't have to worry about empty lobbies for some time. The only way this game will die is if people don't play the game enough for the devs to update it. This game is for everyone that wanted CsGo and Valorant to be on consoles.

You can check current steam charts rn if you want buddy. You can also check out what everyone is watching on twitch.
The only reason games like CSGO and Dota 2 have a big player base is because they can run on crappy outdated hardware and they are free to play. If people had to pay for those games then the player base would be a lot smaller because lets be honest, they are mediocre games just like the majority of free to play games.

I really don't know why people are trying to bring me down lol. I'm just saying that free to play games are actually really popular. Competitive games don't target high graphics and are optimized to give the player the most fps over visuals. That is why you see more stylized games in esports than games that try to look real. CSGO has always been a top steam game, even when the game was paid for. If you care about outdated engines then warzone, valorant, destiny, and hyperscape are here for you.

I'm don't even really play free to play games :P

I'm actually quite impressed with this game. Usually games like this that come to Switch are poorly optimised and dumbed down. Hi-rez actually put effort into making the game look decent while including 60fps, gyro aiming, and crossplay.
