Hacking 6.72 JB 5.05 games

Hi Guys

So i took the leap of faith and jumped from JB 5.05 and went to JB 6.72.

I had around 100 games on a external all 5.05 games which now don't work all there icons have a little exclamation mark in the corner. All 6.72 games newly installed work fine no issues and JB ing the system i found easy ... what can i do too get is the OLD games which used to run working NONE of them do anymore.

Any suggestions would be great.

what you use as external ? exfat app2usb or ps4 formated extended ?

This is a known issue and you have to reinstall them. Not sure if anyone is working on a fix.

hum my 5.05 game on exteded work fine no trouble there, what im not sure is if its app2usb that cause prob when you update or isit a hit or miss situation

i don't mind reinstalling them if needs be its well worth it.

so app2usb yeah there are hight chance you will have to reinstall them, mira have trouble whit instalation some time (like its dosent work whit remote instalation or kp during debug pkg install) but if you can make mira (no HB) work instalation work fine there (im one of the unlucky right now that mira (no HB) dosent send the payload....)

Sorry to hijack but could you list the steps you made to upgarde from 5.05 to 6.72 safely? Did you get the recovery firmware or the other one(forgetting the name)?

I am so glad that I wait a little longer. I have all 5.05 games and I won't jump to 6.72 until an exploitable is stable enough and 5.05 backup games work properly on 6.72. Don't want to reinstall them all over again anyway. I am staying on 5.05 for now.

Ok this is where i stand now ... Moved from 5.05 last week to 6.72 using a PC/Laptop to host files to JB ...BEST WAY!
My issues:
6.72 has issues installing 5.05 games weather through Debug or app2USB.
ANY game may have issues installing on a External HDD.
All 6.72 games running on 6.72 JB work for me fine so.....
My work around is this:
Take my internal drive out of my PS4 and use and male to female sata lead to connect an 6TB from outside the PS4 to the ports inside the internal HDD slot ....Making the PS4 think its internal HDD is the 6TB. Solving the issue of no games able to be installed on a external.
Anyway ill let you know if this works and if anyone else if having the same external HDD issues if this fixes it.
I dont mind loosing all the 5.05 games as long as my result is iam able to install all new games on a massive HDD.
Every JB i tried didn't fix any of my issues and that's why this seems the best way forward for me ...

hmmm if you use remote pakage instaler and pkg sender on mira (no hb) you can install on external. its only need to be remote for now

Mira (no hb) never seems to work and when it dose get through to the menu screen seeming to work... the 5.05 are still locked with an explanation mark.

i said you could install your game on external extended if you remote install not that you 5.05 game on app2usb would work

You mean exclamation mark? Yeah, that's why I am staying on 5.05 for now. They are working on improvement the exploitable.

I think you can reinstall 5.05 games on 6.72 all over again and it should work. Please correct me if I am wrong, anybody.

app2usb game on 6.72 do a coruption close after about 30min to an 1h of game play for me anyway so stoped using that, all my game on internal or external extended work fine tho
