Where does it say it is citra for Horizon?
Cause people comes talking about how good Citra is working on their phones, and that's Android emulation. When talking about Android, it's impossible not to do that kind of comparison, so we should probably stick to HOS and Lakka.

You just described many reasons to use Citra on L4T Lineage OS. It should be remembered that the unofficial versions were stuck in L4T Lineage OS, since the official version was published it corrected these errors, and the Citro MMJ version runs even better.

So, I've encountered an interesting accessory for switch called the flip grip. It lets your switch to be held vertically. For me it is perfect for emulating Ds and 3ds games on switch. However, I'm aware that there are no emulators for 3ds on Switch at the moment. So here comes my question, is the switch powerful enough to emulate the 3DS in the future?
Try Citra MMJ on the Android port for Switch (L4T Lineage OS). Currently it runs very well, and allows you to play vertically from the settings.

Idk you have access to the patron's build, but m4's port runs bizarrely good, you can even play Zelda games at 2x res at fullspeed and supports anaglyph 3D and first party Labo VR support and it is way faster than the Android version.

Oh shit, you can use Labo to get 3D in 3DS games? Awesome, gonna have to clean the dust off my 6 quid Chinese knock-off Labo headset :rofl2:

Official version

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.citra.citra_emu
1x 60fps

MMJ version

https://github.com/weihuoya/citra
4x 30fps (I recommend 2x)

If you want Citra in Horizon you have to pay, or wait until launch.
Although I do not recommend it yet, because it has many critical errors.

Wait until it is released publicly (or until the port feels too profitable)

That is amazing... tyvm. I swear i tried the unofficial last year, and gave up because the weakest to emulate games were unplayable.
Maybe i didn’t tweak the settings enough, but that is much better than what i remember on android!
Thanks for sharing;).
Oh I meant to ask this is the highest battery profile overclock?
*EDIT* I just realised in those new builds you can use a wireless controller & remove the touchscreen buttons! Just attempted it ;).

I would never in my life put an artifact in my face, with a battery, that can literally explode you. It has never happened on Switch, but it has happened on Smartphone, although fortunately while using it it has not happened. But it can be the case and I don't want to be the first. In addition, both the phones and the Switch console have harmful electromagnetic frequencies if so close.

It is better to use focused VR devices for that technology, where they only use LCD / OLED panels in front of your eyes. (Maybe you can even make your own VR system with an LCD from a disused Tablet or SmartPhone and use a controller (Chinese) to convert AV signal to the LCD Panel).

Of course, if you can use the classic 3D system with glasses, much better.

I will share an Off-screen video if I find how to stream to avoid writing to the MicroSD, or in Dock mode recording the SmartTV, of which I continue to hallucinate that a 240p game can have that dynamic escalation on 42-inch TV

The best thing about the MMJ version is that it allows you CIA installations, useful if the game has DLC. I will be testing more games of this 3DS emulator on Lineage OS of Switchroot for Nintendo Switch.

If you want portable 3ds theres really only 3 options atm ,get your self a 3ds,a decent laptop,a next gen phone/tablet
In the future maybe a switch upgrade model

LMFAO Citra on Switch is capable of running games 60fps at 720p.

it has come a long way but even at 1700 overclock not even half the library runs full speed ;). Still many more other options atm, unless your specific game runs well. I personally wont emulate anything unless its pretty much full speed, ruins the experience otherwise, i prefer waiting for optimizations or choosing different platforms if the alternative is a choppy game.
