I have been testing the 3DS Citra emulator on L4T Lineage OS, both the official version found in PlaysTore and another unofficial one with other characteristics, and these were my results:
The official verison of the PlayStore runs wonderfully. I had about 60fps of emulation.
The unofficial version is also great, and even with x4 improvement it does not suffer any fall. It generates a lot of heat and the fan is on full blast, the console may even turn off.
Official version: 720p-60fps
Unofficial version: 4K (max) -30fps
Pro:
You can play in dock mode at 1080-60fps for the official version, and 4k-30fps for the unofficial version.
Unfortunately he suffers from many frame drops when reading the game. It is one of the great disadvantages of using a MicroSD that OS and Storage are working on. If there was a way to load the game from an external connection, for example, allowing the Dock Mode USB ports to be used to connect a USB Memory (Flash-HDD-SSD), this drop of frames could be avoided and the game would run perfectly .
Because LineageOS has issues with controller sticks, the analog stick works like a Pad, it feels really ugly to play in Dock mode. You will have to try another controller via Bluetooth.
