Hacking R4 card not working

Recently I bought a DS lite and a 3DSXL.
The DS lite came with a r4 card.

Not knowing you could homebrew the 3ds using only the sd card I tried the ntrboot method with the r4 card using the DS lite method. After that the r4 card does not work. The 3DS has homebrew on it now thanks to another tutorial and I would like to know how to fix the r4 card. Any help?

I have the original software that came in the sd card because I copied it. But the card is not recognized in the ds or the 3ds.

Have you tried formating the SD card in the R4 and reinstalling the firmware from the site?

Yes. Formated the SD card and put the firmware again. Put the _rpg folder and _ds_menu.dat in the SD card again.
The DS does no even see the card.

Actually all I did was put the kernel back in the card. Is there any other step I'm missing? It's my first time using a R4 card.

You need to remove ntrboot from your flashcard.

So I saw a post that said it was able to revive a card by using SPIPGM.EXE to fix it. Although i dont know how to use it. My dad has an Elnec MEMprogL machine and I was wondering how to use the EXE if no one can help me with an easier solution.

Tried reading the chips memory and found out it was wiped. No information was writen inside. After trying to put 2 backpups i found here in the website i gave up. It didnt write the whole backup. always some lines short. Ended up ordering a new R4 card. A gold this time. When the gold gets here ill try the hot swipe with the old card and the .nds file from the r4isdhc on the bad card.
