Hardware Pro controller issue

im having issues with my pro controller. it charges fine and able to play game with no issues. but after using for like 45mins, it will hang and not able to be used. the switch shows the controller is disconnected but the physical controller shows its still connected. But the controller does not react to anything even with buttons pressed. it will 'hang' until the battery is drained. after it is charged up, it can be use for 45mins or so and the whole issue starts again. is there anything i can do? tried opening up and there isnt any physical damage/corosion etc to the motherboard. is there anyway to 'reformat' the controller?

Have you updated the pro controller to the latest version?

Get a new one I play switch 8 to 10 hours a day with my pro controller with no issues at all

i understand getting a new one will solve everything. im jus checking whether is there anything else i can do to save the controller other then using it for parts.
