yeah was hoping not to do much in terms of modding as i dont want to mess up the SD card slot :/ would it not be possible to with addon, display the menu when its saving? rather than passing button combos through you're passing read/write data to bring it up, then when its done remove it?

Yeah, it's not really possible.

Boktai beta does not save or load unless the setting is set to eeprom

I see...
Having a ROM be force to use a specific save type like the way you say is just more work than it is really worth. I just don't see it really happening.

Your best bet is something like GBATA, which has an SRAM patcher.

Update v3.32:
- Exit patched the .wav, .jpg, and .txt plugins. Press L+R to exit these plugins.
- A few tweaks to icons and colors.
- A couple more tools are included in the package, including gbafix, gbata, and mdx2mda, for Sharp X68000 music.

Hey I'm having issues where my gbc games are not being saved all the time. Sometimes the save just doesn't 'stick'. Savestates don't seem to fix it

I finally got my Omega and so far most of the games load and run just fine but saving is wildly inconsistent. I tested it with Golden Sun, Pokemon Prism, and Zelda - Minish Cap, and the first save and wait worked fine, but it wouldn't save after that. Pictured is where I first saved in Pokemon Prism and then went into the Pokemon Center, saved again, waited 10 seconds, restarted, and the first save only was what loaded.

Again try on a stock gba console
I want to apologize Shadow, I didn't realize there was an extra step for GBC/NES games to save.....you have to in-game save, wait a couple of seconds, THEN L+R to the menu which then allows the save to process(?) for a few seconds THEN you exit.....haven't had an issue with any of the GBC games saving after I figured that out.

Hello, new member here. Love your interface for the EZ Flash, Sterophonick!

I would like to personalize some of the theme with the Universal Skinner Tool, but I can't seem to open the .bin file without everything looking corrupted.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you want to skin this kernel, you're gonna have to do it through source code. I don't really have the knowledge for making Windows tools.
Ah, okay, thanks anyways!

I did see people updating "definitions.xml" files in the skinner tool to be able to work on editing the themes of specific unofficial builds...is that a thing I'd be able to find on your github?
