Hello I am on firmware 10.0.2 I wanted to use incognito_rcm to install incognito on my switch but it’s not updated to support the firmware yet. I have seen a fork but I can’t compile it. I also have seen that atmosphere has added the option but it’s not recommended to use yet. If anyone knows how to set it up properly I’d be okay doing that. I don’t have an exosphere option in atmosphere from what I’ve seen so I am not sure what I should do yet. Thanks for the help!

The atmos function works great! The problem is that it is not enabled by default. You could upgrade to NeutOS. It is atmos with incognito and all the patches already enabled.

There is a fork of Incognito_RCM by borntohonk on Github. It supports the latest firmware.

If you're using atmosphere 0.12.0, go grab a copy of exosphere.ini from here, and you can modify the file to either have prodinfo blanking set to 1 for your sysMMC, or emuMMC depending on your configuration. You also have the option to enable cal0 writing and then grab the old incognito nro and run it that way. I personally just use the prodinfo blanking option on my sysMMC and it works great.

Also note, the exosphere.ini file you'd place it in the root of your sd card. Make sure you have atmosphere 0.12.0 for this to work

It's not "not recommended to use" because it isn't stable but because ReSwitched team doesn't really recomment modifying and blanking your prodinfo. They just added this feature in because people still blanks their prodinfo despite reswitched's warnings and this will be safer to use as this will not touch your prodinfo at all while achieving the same result.

Does this still work? I would rather use this method then incognito

Thank you

90NDS is probably safer IMO been using it for 6 month no problem I know on igcongintio if you delete a important file by accident you are screwed

Which is why you back that file up to your computer, online (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc), and also have a valid, clean NAND backup. Worst case you lose your prodinfo backup? You can grab it from your NAND backup. If you don't have any of those then it's your fault.

While 90DNS does work, Nintendo could in the future add a new server and then your switch sends info to that. Incognito works where it breaks your SSL cert, so any info your switch tries to send out to Nintendo is just broken garbage. Not to mention if you connect to a new network and forget to configure 90DNS, you're hosed.

Thank you buddy.....Am i right in my previous post about text document then renaming the file....also with incognito it never displays the serial no in the settings is this the case here also?
Yeah just name it exopshere.ini , drop it on the root of your SD card. And when you have incognito (prodinfo blanking) enabled from it, your serial would show up as XAW000000000. (Located in Settings > System > Serial Information)

"pg1 error thingy", are you booting with hekate? Because if you are that error isn't related to incognito at all. Also pretty sure you mean PKG1.

Error being like "Unknown pkg1 version? Failed to launch HOS" which is a fss0 Hekate loading error. Hekate's outdated for the firmware you're trying to use. Can be fixed either by updating Hekate to the newest build, or chainload Atmosphere's fusee-primary.bin with your hekate_ipl.ini config. Or just boot with fusee-primary.bin instead.

I understand but I normally don't go on wifi on my switch unless I really need to all my games and etc I get offline.

Haven't played my switch in a week been playing state of decay lol
