8BitDo is making a wireless TurboGrafx-16 Mini controller

3bsgJHr.png

While the TurboGrafx-16 Mini has been delayed, fans of the throwback console will have something to look forward to in the meantime: a newly announced wireless controller. 8BitDo has created a controller for the TurboGrafx-16 Mini, with three different color variations to represent the TG-16, the PCE, and a PCE Core. It'll work with the mini console, when it does release eventually, but it will also have compatibility with the Nintendo Switch, if you're inclined to use it there. The controller will ship on May 20th and can be pre-ordered from Amazon as of today.

Doesn't look like there is a bluetooth version...? And lack of plug-n-play PC support on the dongle is odd. Feels like less effort than the other systems have gotten.

I hope people enjoy that turbografx 16 mini console. Not really sure what game I'll find fun to play on it since i never owned one.
Have you ever played Bonk ? Some awesome games on that system but was f-ing expensive when it came out . Slaughter House was another big game on it

Nope, but I guess i can try it out. It is on the snes I believe. :ninja:
Those games ran a hell lot better on T16 which was like 2x more powerful, the SNES are dumb down versions NEC was trying to steal the market back then but the system was $500 to some times $600 because they were hard to find

Well I don't think it can be that bad on the snes. Though I never even thought about playing that game specifically.

I looked at the available games on the system. Some of them are on wii u virtual console. Not many of them I recognize besides like Gradius, Salamander, R-type... seems like lots of space shooting games. They also exist on other systems I did own. Sorry that none of what I found on the virtual console or the list of games the PCE classic mini has was appealing enough to want it. But I guess someone demanded it because konami is putting this thing out. (seem more like their games played a huge role in the console) :ninja:

Think of it as ps4/xbox to Switch quality even game speed is different, but highly recommend the Bonks. I would inject those ,all the good games had licensing issues ps try ninja spirts

This looks great! But I just want a Gamecube Hori like pad for my Gameboy Player... PLEEEASEEEE 8bitdo!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I would be happier if wired only (on GC) to avoid any lag on the Gamecube, and a wireless version for those who want to use it on the PC or Switch, etc.

Why oh WHY no one has done this!! Even for people with Gamecube controller adapters, even they could use them on the WiiU/Switch, lag free, it would be my dream come true.
