I got it working by changing the region to Americas, although the modifier isn't working too well since the ABD items get weird textures on them if I use X + D-pad left

Problem temporary solved. Changed my switch system to America and language to english.

After this buttoncombo and cheat is working.

This is a pretty large code. Depending how many codes you have it could be getting cut off. What if you move it to the top and make it your first code?

For text to item:
Send in chat the ID you want to use, press X + D-Pad Right to spawn the item in your inventory slot 01
press X + D-Pad Left to modify the item.

To use the buffer version (probably safer):
Just write the item ID in the keyboard, and then press ZR + D Pad Right/Left

([Chat Buffer to Slot 1(Y+D-Pad Right: Item ID|Y + D-Pad Left: Modifier)]

It might be because your game is in another language. I don't think it's possible to change the game language either. I'll look to see what I can do but the best way to get support for this cheat would be to join my discord... Your posts will get buried very quickly here https://discord.gg/EZSxqRr

For me I used the second code.

Open up in-game chat and type in the item hex ID.
Then while on the chat screen
press ZR + D-pad Right just spawn that item into your slot 1. (You don't have to send the chat message just type it in)

Same way for the modifier.

Only this time bring up the chat and type in a number between 0 and 5 (for example) only that one digit then press ZR + D-pad Left

To customize the item that is in slot one of your inventory to the colour of the number you set.

For those using NHSE to edit their islands, have any of you tried adding more beach to the back of the island to connect with the "secret beach"? Any issues with it? I was also thinking of trying to add a bridge to connect cliff sides. Any advice or should I stay away from map editing in NHSE until it's more sophisticated?

I've been trying but I've had no luck. I sort of feel like it's because they go into the slots at random so there's no set IDs for them but idk
