couldnt fix it. just deleted the save file...
oh that was a long time ago before i even knew there were backups lol. like first weekend of the games release xDI hope you save and have a backup next time before editing and messing around lol.
this kinda(?) worked for meThis is my process that worked for me:
1. Start with a save with 10 villagers.
2. Open NHSE. Load an empty villager onto one of the villagers. Only one. Save. This is your Save-1.
3. Restore Save-1 on Switch, open up your game, go check if that villager's house had turned into an available plot.
4. If it does turn into available plot, save the game. Quit. Backup that save. Let's call it Save-2.
5. Open Save-2 on NHSE, now edit that empty villager into the one you want, for example, Raymond. Save. This is Save-3.
6. Restore Save-3 on your Switch, open up your game, go to Mystery Island and invite that person to your island.
7. Go back to your island, check that available plot, it should say SOLD with 'Raymond' name instead of that person you invited.
8. Save, quit the game, go to your system and timeskip one day, go back to your game and Raymond should be there with correct house.
Try these and let me know if it works?
any chance is high tbhHey is the chance of me getting banned high when i used NHSE just for money?
Interesting. Could you post Interior and Exterior photos if you dont mind?this kinda(?) worked for me
I didn't have 10 villagers yet though, only had 9 so I skipped the first 3 steps.
I managed to get Raymond in with the correct house exterior but the interior is kinda messed up. He has most of the correct furniture but he's missing all the furniture that goes on top of his tables. The wallpaper and floor are the basic ones too instead of the office ones.
Interesting. Could you post Interior and Exterior photos if you dont mind?
EDITED: Nvm it seems to duplicate 10th villager even when you replace them.yeah anytime I try Lupe's method for villager editing It just duplicates my 10th villager hopefully theirs a fix soon.
Yeah I've tried that the method works when I do it on the 10th villager but when I try it with any other villager it again duplicates the 10th villager@hentaikun Here you go!
I've played with @hentaikun save and it seems that the bug with 10th villager is easily solved. You just have to perform my method on that 10th villager in order to clear that glitch/bug!
I haven't tried with the said save yet if it's the same with yours or not. I'll try to do it and see if it works.Yeah I've tried that the method works when I do it on the 10th villager but when I try it with any other villager it again duplicates the 10th villager

Differently coloured furniture (and tools) have the same ID as the base item. Differently coloured clothes items have seperate IDs. To change the colour of a furniture item try changing the quantity of the item (on furniture/tools, the quantity determines the colour). I made a few custom codes to cycle through 1-10 items to see what colours items have.
All of these are for Slot 1 (D-Up referring to the Up direction on the D-Pad)
Code:[Amount x1 L+D-Up] 80002040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000000 20000000 [Amount x2 L+D-Left] 80001040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000001 20000000 [Amount x3 L+D-Down] 80008040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000002 20000000 [Amount x4 L+D-Right] 80004040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000003 20000000 [Amount x5 L+D-Up] 80002040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000004 20000000 [Amount x6 L+D-Left] 80001040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000005 20000000 [Amount x7 L+D-Down] 80008040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000006 20000000 [Amount x8 L+D-Right] 80004040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000007 20000000 [Amount x9 L+D-Up] 80002040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000008 20000000 [Amount x10 L+D-Down] 80008040 04100000 AC3B90C4 00000009 20000000
